After taking a season off to promote her latest album Lotus, Christina Aguilera has returned to judge The Voice: Season 5 and also contributed a song to The Hunger Games: Catching Fire soundtrack.

Introduced to the world as a member of the New Mickey Mouse Club in 1994 (along with Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, and Ryan Gosling, among others), Christina Aguilera first gained notoriety as a solo artist with a song from the Disney film Mulan,” Reflection.” The song peaked at #20 and was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Original Song. She followed that success with her debut album, which spawned the hit singles Genie In A Bottle and What A Girl Wants, both chart-toppers. From that point on, Aguilera’s career has been non-stop, with chart-topping hits like “Beautiful” and “Dirrty.” In 2003, Aguilera’s co-headlining Justified & Stripped tour with Justin Timberlake generated nearly $20 million dollars in ticket sales. With her signature powerhouse voice and trained dance moves, Aguilera’s concerts are filled with energetic, thrilling performances. She brought that energy to her collaboration with Lil’ Kim, Mya, and Pink on the classic disco song “Lady Marmalade,” which spent five weeks at the top of the Hot 100 Billboard Chart. Aguilera also records in Spanish as well as in English, and plans to release new material in 2014.

    Truly an Experience

    Christina delivers a high end performance in a beautiful theater that truly has no bad seats. She has definitely put her mark on Vegas and delivers a Vegas worthy show. While her voice is amazing and could stand alone her costume changes and set designs allow you to get lost in the experience. Christina was very personable with her fans and made sure they were acknowledged. She covered a range of songs from her career and delivered them with power and confidence. I truly recommend seeing this show while she is there...after seeing a very dissappointing Gaga show Christina made up for it by delivering a show worthy of Las Vegas.

    It was too much of a production for my liking. Would like to have enjoyed just hearing Christina sing without all the others on stage with her.

    Christina Aguilera was AMAZING! Definitely a dream come true for me. The only thing I would recommend is not having those bright shiny lights on her because it affected the video quality of all of my videos. Less is always more! While Christina was doing a costume change and they were showing something beautiful on the screen and someone tapped me from behind and was asking me if I could sit down. My response to her was that I paid a lot of money to see Christina and I don’t sit at concerts. Out of courtesy, I told her I would sit for a bit and get back up when Christina comes back out on stage. I think Ticketmaster should mention before someone purchases their tickets, they should consider getting seats at the very top if they plan on sitting yet still being able to see the stage. It isn’t fair for a ticket holder to sit down to please someone else’s interest.

    Christina was in fine form, and seeing her at such an iconic venue was truly amazing!! It was a very exciting night!
