CHVRCHES Tickets

Chvrches put on a phenomenal show. They have so much energy, and their enthusiasm really invigorates the audience. Since they're still an up-and-coming band, they really appreciate every person that comes to their shows. The opening act was an Australian band called Mansionair. I had never heard of them before the concert, and although their set was fine, I wasn't inspired to learn more about them or seek out their music. This was the first time that I've been to the Danforth Music Hall. It was a great venue for a concert because it had a large stage, and a lower level that made for a great general admissions area. It was still small enough though that the concert felt intimate. My only complaint regarding the venue was that it has a very small entrance and lobby, which makes exiting the hall after the concert a very slow process. Overall I had a great night, and will definitely go see Chvrches perform again.

Definitely check out CHVRCHES if you get the chance! The Danforth Music Hall is an amazing venue as well, any view is great!

Amazing show, phenomenal energy. They are getting better and better live.

Guttural bass, catchy synths and Lauren's fantastic vocals. A match made in synth-pop heaven. Lauren's voice sounded a bit high pitched but I blame this on the acoustics, otherwise she was perfect. Martin's performance of "Under The Tide" was electric and animated. Awesome light show. I met them after the show - just before they climbed their tour bus. They were friendly and gracious despite their need for sleep.

For a new band who hasn't even released their first full album yet, I thought they were awesome! All of the band members are obviously feeling the music and doing their best to put on a good show. Lauren, their lead singer, performed flawlessly.

Don't get me wrong, XXYYXX was fine as a performer (I mean, as good as a DJ can be). but he was not a good choice to open the show. He dj's chillwave-hop hop / electro. There's no connection musically between him and Chvrches other than some electronics.
