The Craig Thatcher Band has garnered attention around the country with their blend of solid original material and amazingly faithful renditions of classic rock’s biggest hits. The band formed in Pennsylvania in 1993 and released their debut album Because of You to much acclaim three years later. The attention landed Thatcher and company opening spots for the likes of Buddy Guy, The Derek Trucks Band, Ted Nugent, Jonny Lang, Robin Trower, and The Spencer Davis Group, among others. Their second album Temptation was released in 2000 to similar praise. In 2005 Thatcher began arranging Eric Clapton Retrospective performances, which gave him the opportunity to pay tribute to one of his greatest heroes. In addition to Clapton tributes, he has lead several similar tributes for artists like The Allman Brothers Band and Jimi Hendrix.
