Dave Summer was GREAT but the sound was not enough loud, I would put it up a bit.

What an amazing technology the lighting and video quality were mesmerizing. Dave Summer set was energetic everyone was jumping! We had such a great time. Thank you for this great evening.

So I got the ticket for free as it was an event for the venue (MTELUS) to show off their new giant video wall. First the good things: Getting in was a breeze. The dance floor wasn't overfilled past capacity like so many other places. So you could dance to your hearts content while not feeling like you're stuck in a box of sardines. Sound was great though mostly seemed front focused. Everything was clean and orderly. No sticky floors! Finding the washrooms was kind of a journey though. And the DJ was rock solid. Great energy with more than enough audience participation. The bad: the video wall isn't actually a wall. I get the logistics and price of it might have beeen prohibitive. It's just not a wall. Will say though, the clarity and sharpness were top notch. And the way the lights and sfx were laid out around the perimeter of the screen did help extend the perception of the whole experience. So great time was had.
