I was fortunate enough to see David Copperfield years ago and when we planned our trip to Las Vegas and I saw that he was playing there, I just knew we had to go see him. It was my husband's first time seeing him and he too was simply amazed. What a show David puts on. For me, this is a must see if you happen to be in Vegas!
Always wanted to see David Copperfield and finally got to see him. It was just unbelievable! It was interactive, he had a story to tell with every act, and seating in the theatre allowed everybody to have great seats! He did a trick right in front of our table! I would see him again and again, it was magical ;)
Although you know they are all illusions you will still be amazed trying to figure out how was that done
I found the show to be OK. David seems pretty complacent doing this show. Impressive tricks but some a little out there.
Really enjoyed the small intimate setting. David's interaction with the crowd is wonderful, quick wit and good clean humour.
Saw the David Copperfield show at the MGM Grand in August 2014 - needless to say, I was underwhelmed. David has changed his approach from the large-scale, Vegas-style illusions to smaller, more audience-based tricks. While the show was OK to watch, David spoke very quickly which made it difficult for audience members to follow along when English was their second language. Strangely enough, one of the staff came up to our group prior to the show starting and asked us to stand up and applaud when David completed a certain trick (apparently the trick was new and he wanted to garner positive attention) - definitely a weird request considering the calibre of the show I was expecting. I wouldn't recommend this show to friends visiting Vegas - it was expensive and disappointing for the quality of the show provided.
This event was spectacular! David Copperfield really is an accomplished illusionist and a great story-teller. He uses audience participation a great deal and it is effective. My only negative was the original seating I had booked which turned out to be in a very cramped space and facing a wall though near the stage. An usher helped me locate another seat through the main desk agent and Ticketmaster agent. While further away from the stage, my seat was comfortable and I had a good view. Thanks for making my experience a good one. I would highly recommend this event!
Fantastic show! Definitely #1 in Master of Illusions!
Came here with reputation and renowned. However, the scale of the stage was small. Magic is ok but below our expectation as a world class magicican.

Very entertaining and the illusions were amazing. I was picked to help with an illusion, and I can't believe that I still have no idea how it was done.
I really like his interactive shows... His tricks are creative and relevant... Imagine using social media as part of the platform for his tricks....
This show was a little pricy but I would go again in a second. Amazing show.
David Copperfield is an absolute phenomenon! The show was brilliant, and I will definitely try to see him again either when he comes to Canada or another State

Boring! So disappointed! Saw him years ago and LOVED the show. Now, he just seems tired and bored with it all. I am sorry I wasted the money on this unexciting, boring show - even more sorry I recommended it to people!
I thought the show was medium at best. For the price that was charged. I expected a ziegfried and Roy spectacular from David Copperfield. Yes there was some great magic but so so...Also alot was done on a big tv screen. I rather he would of stayed on stage and showed his magic to everyone.
We have been to see Mr. Copperfield before and we wonder how he could top the show before. Well let me tell you. He did . Not only did he transport a person from one place to another but he did it with 8 people at the same time in front of us , as we were sitting in the front row, and moved them to the back of the showroom in an instant. All I can say is WOW !!!!!
We all enjoyed the show that was roughly an hour and fifteen minutes long. We chose to end our trip with this show and what a hit it was!
There's a reason his show has lasted so long in Vegas - he's a pro. I'm not even a fan of magic/illusion, but he is a showman. My husband really enjoyed the show and rated it at the top of the shows we saw. These included Mystere, Terry Fator, Marriage can be Murder and Absinthe. Lots of great illusions and great storytelling.
