David Spade on Tour

David Spade is a stand-up comedian, actor, writer, talk show host, and television personality with razor-sharp sarcasm that will leave you in stitches. He's best known for his performances on "Saturday Night Live" (SNL) and hilariously endearing role in Joe Dirt (2001) -- a film he both starred in and co-wrote. Other box office hits from Spade's film career include popular titles like Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star (2003), The Benchwarmers (2006), Grown Ups (2010), Grown Ups 2 (2013), and The Do Over (2016). In 2020, he was a People's Choice Award nominee for Favorite Comedy Movie Star in the film The Wrong Missy (2020). On the small screen, Spade received one Emmy and two Golden Globe nominations for his work playing the wise-cracking assistant, Dennis Finch, in the American sitcom "Just Shoot Me!" He also starred in the beloved CBS comedy "Rules of Engagement," joined the cast of "8 Simple Rules," co-wrote the screenplay and performed voiceovers on MTV's "Beavis and Butt-Head," and hosted "The Showbiz Show with David Spade." Later, he became the host of Comedy Central's "Lights out with David Spade." Over the years, Spade has entertained viewers with his self-deprecating humor and outrageous wit as the host of the Teen Choice Awards and the Spike Video Game Awards, and made guest appearances on sitcoms like "The Goldbergs" and reality TV programs such as "Bachelor in Paradise." Now, you can enjoy a no-holds-barred night of laughter with tickets to David Spade live on tour as he returns to the slapstick stand-up comedy that first made him famous.

David Spade Live

A natural prankster born on July 2, 1964, Arizona native David Spade started doing stand-up while he was young with his family and friends urging him onto the stages of bars, theaters and campuses across the country. He performed in Arizona State's long-running sketch comedy show multiple times, where he attended school as a fraternity member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He also got experience delivering laughs at Greasy Tony's Pizza during the Monday night comedy shows in the mid-'80s. In 1990, Spade took his comedy career to the next level when he joined the crew of "Saturday Night Live" -- first as a writer, then quickly making his way up to cast member. Shortly after his television debut on SNL, Rolling Stone dubbed him "Hot Stand-Up Comedian of the Year." Over the next five years, Spade would become a household favorite, well-known and loved for his comedic persona. He built his unique brand of sarcasm through skits like "Hollywood Minute" and "Total Bastard Airline" until eventually leaving the cast in 1996. His venture into film and television thereafter was immediately successful, earning himself a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame by 2003.

    It was ok but…

A few of his jokes are on Netflix and the drunk heckler needed to be escorted out. The venue is great. I was just hoping for a much better evening out.

    Had a few good laughs!

Each comedian made us a laugh. However the service and line up to get a refreshment was really, really slow. The venue seats are not made for tall people.

    Relaxed, smart, smooth comedy

by Guy in the audience on 2022-06-29Club Regent Event Centre - Winnipeg

First, the opening comics. Fantastic. Spade’s Smart witty dry sense of humour and relaxing delivery shows the true professional he is. Having seen other top rated (famous 90’s show) comedian(s) David’s delivery and performance is on par.

    Adequate

by Richard P on 2022-06-29Club Regent Event Centre - Winnipeg

7:00PM show- he appeared inebriated, lots of material the cuff which was good, referred to his notes on occasion, kind of meandered, wasn't disappointed but not his best show either.

Spade should dig up some new material!

by jackson07 on 2016-03-14The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

David Spade is one of my favorite comedians but 90 per cent of his material is recycled stuff from the last 10 years. Very disappointed he didn't make the effort to write some new material.

Would have rather watched Tommy Boy or Black Sheep

He just wasn't that funny or original. Lots of energy but not what I expected.

    Expected more...

by carla19 on 2016-03-14The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

I guess I expected more out of this show. David had a few giggles, but didn't feel there was any new material.

    Old Material

by Chewbaca on 2016-03-12Caesar's Casino - Windsor

There was not a single joke that I hadn't heard before. It was all the jokes from his HBO special, his book, and appearances he has done on numerous talk shows. I thought comedians retire their jokes after their special airs? It's time for some new material!!!!

by Frozen459890 on 2014-10-28The Seneca Niagara Events Center at Seneca Niagara Casino - Niagara Falls

I was very disappointed with david spade,he was not that funny. My freinds and I thought he was spaced out,at one point he seemed like he lost track of his thoughts,he did make us laugh a couple of times, but for the money we spent it was not worth it,the mc was funny, and Kevin Farley was great we laughed lots.also the show was only about an hour and a half,I have laughed a lot more at a second city in toronto then that show, will be going to just for laughes in November bet that will be great.

Have to disagree with the other reviews on this one. Found Farley to be the best stand up I have ever seen--hilarious. David was funny and the opening act was good too. Overall, a 5 star experience...Farley still being wildy hilarious. I highly recommend this show

Saw David Spade on March 23, 2013 at the Venetian. To David: Sorry, but you've been better. I remember your earlier years, which is why we spent nearly 100$ each on tickets. However, it seems like you may need some fresh material. After all you have experienced, I was disappointed to hear 'mom' stories coming from you, that is usually the material of new comedians. We liked your flannel shirt and down to earth attitude though. Farley was both wildly funny and really not funny/borderline offensive - we still don't know if he is a benefit to your act or not, but you need to thank Bobby Miyamoto (opening act) for being on your team - he was consistently funny the only reason we didn't feel ripped off.
