About

Dierks Bentley broke out in the country music scene with his 2003 debut hit single "What Was I Thinkin'" off his eponymous debut album. The Phoenix, Arizona-born artist’s playful blend of country, rock and bluegrass shines on songs such as 2005’s steamy ballad “Come a Little Closer,” 2014’s “Drunk on a Plane,” and swooning duets like 2016’s “I'll Be The Moon” with Maren Morris. With nine Top 10 albums under his belt and 15 Grammy nominations, the singer-songwriter has also spent most of the past two decades on the road, touring with the likes of Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley and Miranda Lambert, the latter with whom he hit the road on 2013’s stacked Locked and Re-Loaded Tour. The “notorious road warrior” (Rolling Stone(Opens in new tab)) — now based in Nashville — has completed over a dozen headlining tours that often evoke summer barbeques and high-energy tailgate parties. In February 2023, Bentley released his 10th studio album Gravel & Gold, peaking at No. 14 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. On February 14, 2025, Bentley released the single “She Hates Me,” his first new single since 2023’s “Something Real.”

  • Dierks Bentley is better live than on the radio

Dierks Bentley had an energetic stage presence. And he sounded unbelievable live, better than on any cd or radio station.

  • Great Concert!

Dierks is The Man! Great concert, playing old hits and new. Interacted with the audience and is very hands-on and appreciative of his fans. Ticket cost wasn't too much either.

  • dierk's day

by andyp on 2012-02-23Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

I thought I had a pretty good seat and for a person of more mature years, I felt it was time to relax and chill out. Well, within a minute of the show, everyone around me was standing and moving to the music. Needless to say, I was up with the rest of them and managed to take a sit down for all of five minutes. Dierk had the auditorium rocking all night ! What an enjoyable show.

  • Very short, Not Worth IT

by Anonymous on 2012-02-23Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 1 out of 5

He hardly played more than an hour. Definitely not worth 70 bucks for an average seat. There was absolutely nothing special that he did

  • Great!!!

I loved the venu,. alot more intimate than being at the saddledome. Only complaint is people dont know proper concert etiquite. Anyways Chad Brownlee was amazing. He has a great voice and stage presence. Dierks Bentley was unreal. I have seen him before but he gets better and better.

  • DIERKS AND CHAD ROCKED IT

by MMSK on 2012-02-23Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

This was one of the best concerts I've been to in a while. Opener Chad Brownlee has a really great live voice and his songs sounded just as good as they do on his CDs. There was also an opportunity for fans to meet him after his performance, which me and my friends did, he was very friendly and posed for pictures with all of the fans. Then Dierks Bentley came on and put on the absolute best show. Got the crow pumped, sang all of his big hits and some new songs which were also awesome. I had the best time. It was sad that the event was held at the jubilee and no beverages could be drank during the concert and only at intermission in the lobby. Considering it was called the "cold cans" tour it was a little unfitting, but that is my only complaint.

  • Terrible

by Canmores on 2012-02-22Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 1 out of 5

I wanted to hear Dierks sing! I did not buy expensive tickets to have the band play so loud the seats were vibrating. One of the reasons we will not attend concerts in the Rexall Place is because the music is always so loud. Now it is happening in the Auditorium as well. Our only alternative is to buy the CD's and enjoy the music at home which is not what we want to do. Concerts can be wonderful.

  • Dierks Bentley and Chad Brownlee were fantastic!

by momx2 on 2012-02-22Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Fabulous show...Dierks was great with a fabulous voice....sounds just as great live as he does on his CD. His energy is amazing and transpires to the audience instantly. Amazing entertainer.

  • Average country concert tour

by baymisty on 2012-02-22Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

We must be getting older as most attending were young girl and women with stars in their eyes. I will say I enjoyed the up beat songs and new approach in a small venue. The only draw back was the music some time over powered the voices and singer. The lights were too much for a small venue and blinding in the mid balcony, which we like for most performances in the 'Jub' Edmonton. Dierks asking the audience to get up all the time was quite 'bar' like not for this performace venue. We pay good money and don't what to stand though the whole performace or have to look though jumping, dancing and crazy moving people. If they like that go to an outside performace were that more exceptable. I quess we're getting too old for this type of performer??!! This is Canada EH!!

Dierk's Bentley put on an amazing performance at the CN centre, high fiving the crowd throwing guitar picks to the fans. He was high energy and was having fun. Chad Brownlee was really good as well. Great choice for the opening act.

  • Top notch concert!!

So personal and up close and we were on the second balcony! Would definitely see Dierks again!
