It was good, and the sound was perfect - but I realized it's basically just like watching a movie in a theater. You didn't realize the sound was coming from the orchestra.
What a great way to introduce young kids to orchestral music. They loved listening to the beautiful music as well as enjoy the animation of Frozen. My kids and husband said they really enjoyed it and look forward to attending other presentations with an orchestra. That is a major win!
It was very exciting for myself & my 7 year old grand-daughter to watch Frozen with live music from the CPO..awesome seats and we brought binoculars so we could see the musicians...we are definitely buying tickets for those seats again.
Wonderful - took our granddaughter and she thoroughly enjoyed it. The orchestra did a wonderful job re: only have 2 days to rehearse the timing, etc. Disappointing that those in attendance opted to begin chatting, etc. while the orchestra was playing the music accompanying the closing credits (really people show some manners/appreciation). Perhaps a longer intermission to allow parents/small children to do the bathroom break as the women's washrooms become quite congested. As for the Southern Jubilee auditorium - might be nice to provide snacks that might be more appealing to a younger audience. The Jubes were quite hard. All in all - loving Thanksgiving treat.
I would like to applaud the CPO for bringing this fabulous experience to Calgary. My Granddaughter and I had a wonderful time. The seats were great, the film wonderful, but the music being played live by the CPO made it magic! We will endevor to attend more film and music in future.
Excellent event Very wellorganized Need more snacks in lobby of Auditruim not just biscuit or saly snacks More guidance on cars parking is recommended to save time
This "Disney's Frozen - in Concert" was incredible! My nieces & I LOVED it!!!
Great for all ages. Fun to see everyone all dressed up, some adults too! It’s a really unique way to watch movies.
kids loved the live music, the place was perfect and we all enjoyed.
Great evening to share with the little ones. Definitely attend again next year with all my grandchildren
