Great kids, okay adult, some outdated

by iGGy96 on 2015-01-13Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

The Disney machine definitely captures the eye of little ones. The stage show itself is okay for adults (barely) ... But you are there for your kids as first priority. The characters include the never dated Mickey, toy story was relevant to my 3yr old ... But Little Mermaid and Aladdin were outdated. The voice of the late great Robin Williams as the Genie was cool.

Mickey had my daughter rocking in her seat!

    by IslandMomma1983 on 2015-01-08Rogers K-Rock Centre - Kingston

Mickey and Friends rocked the house! My daughter was in seventh heaven, especially for the Little Mermaid segment! Cast was very lively, despite entertaining a small, not nearly sold out audience! Would recommend, and definitely see another show, my daughter can't wait to go back already!

    mickey musical

    by mickeyfan2012 on 2015-01-06Rogers K-Rock Centre - Kingston

The musical was good but could have been even better if mickey mouse was in it more. My two year old wanted to chase mickey off stage when he ran. Mickey was not in the show very often but other then that it was a good show

Mickey Mouse Musical Festival was a great show!

by HJNS on 2015-01-06Rogers K-Rock Centre - Kingston

It's the first show that I took my 5 year old little girl to and we both thoroughly enjoyed it! It was non-stop music and dancing for the whole performance. It was wonderful to see so many Disney characters incorporated into the show.

    Disney Live!!

by Peneley on 2015-01-06Rogers K-Rock Centre - Kingston

The show was great, effects were cool. Talented cast. One thing I thought was interesting was my kids didn't really know all the Little Mermaid, Aladin or Toy Story songs and characters though- a little outdated I guess. Perhaps a show with more recent Disney movies would be better, not movies from the 90's...

Disney Live! Mickey's Music Festival-amazing time!

by acskingston on 2015-01-06Rogers K-Rock Centre - Kingston

I loved this show and so did my 4 year old daughter. It was so good! The flow of the show, the music and costumes were awesome. The only negative I have to say is not about the show itself, but, about the KROCK centre. I was not happy to find out that we could not bring in snacks for the kids. I think that for children's events, snacks should be allowed. I understand the point is to make money on the food services, but, when it comes to kids, it just ends up being a waste. They have two bites and are finished. Or, if you have a sensitive child, like mine, they don't like a lot of food they aren't used to having. She has very few items that she will eat and none of them were available at your concession stands. I found that very disappointing and frustrating.

    Show was good!

by coolhandchunk on 2015-01-06Rogers K-Rock Centre - Kingston

The show was great for the little ones. It covers a good selection of the classic Disney movies (Little Mermaid, Toy Story, Aladdin etc..). It is high energy, with lots of dancing, jumping/tumbling etc. and keeps the kids bouncing. It is too bad everything is lip sync'd though....it would have been better entertainment if there was a real back-up band for the music and if some of the performers were actually talking/singing. More direct interaction with the kids would have also improved the show. Overall, good show.

Our 2 children loved the show. I think my daughter may have enjoyed each scene a little more then my nephew as he isn't much into the "girly" Disney movies but overall it was a great show!!

Mickey Mouse & friends brought joy to grandson

by teeka1234 on 2014-12-24Hamilton Place Theatre - Hamilton

I bought the tickets for Mickey's Music Festival at Hamilton Place on December 21 for my daughter and grandson. Although I was not there, I got to see some of the show in pictures and on video that my daughter took during the performance. I was told that my grandson was thrilled with the show and in one of the videos, he can be heard calling out Mickey's name in a very excited voice. My grandson is just 3 years old but well aware of people and things around him. I was told that he just loved Mickey's Music Festival and has been talking about the famous character and his many friends ever since!

    Disappointed by Disney!!

by Susansarah on 2014-12-15Brandt Centre - Evraz Place - Regina

I expected this show to be geared toward the 2-4 year old toddler. It was not. I expected to see kids dancing and singing in the isles, they weren't. I expected the Mickey mouse song, M-I-C K-E-Y........, not Beyonce's "all the single ladies". And I did not expect to have to pay $26 for a popcorn and lemonade!!

My 2 year old LOVED IT

by errece on 2014-12-12Brandt Centre - Evraz Place - Regina

It was the first time that we attended a musical with our daughter and we were a little concerned if she would actually remain interested during the whole show, but it was a great experience for her, the first half she was a little scared but for the second half she was on her feet singing and dancing for the rest of the show. We expected everything to be over priced but a bag of Pop corn for $14 is a complete rip-off, toys on the other hand were reasonable.

    The show

by KDBmom on 2014-12-11SaskTel Centre (Formerly Credit Union Centre) - Saskatoon

The show was fine for children the most exciting part was when the lights when out for one minute and there were glow in the dark fish dancing around. From the stand point of any adult who has any level of dance experience they would be very disappointed. Between bent knees, flexed feet, and some parts out of sink. The dance captain of the show defiantly needs to work with her cast and all cast members need to continue working on their craft to maintain the highest/strongest level of basic dance technique.
