About

ALADDIN, one of Broadway's most extravagant spectacles, is on tour in a production that’s dazzling audiences across North America. Like the hit musical comedy that opened at Broadway's New Amsterdam Theatre in 2014 — and broke 14 New Amsterdam box-office records — ALADDIN’s touring production has been a runaway smash. Since launching its second national tour in October 2022, the touring production has perfectly embodied the Broadway show’s eye-popping illusions, glittering-gold costumes and stargazing rendition of “A Whole New World.” With music by Academy Award-winner Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, and costuming by Tony Award-winner Gregg Barnes, ALADDIN is “Exactly What You Wish For!” (NBC-TV).

    AMAZING!

    by Broadway Fan on 2023-08-03

Disney Aladdin was a magical night out and went well above all my expectations in terms of singing & dancing, costumes & props, sets and illusions! The story was brought to life by amazing cast that nailed every single character. We were enthralled from start to finish. Standing ovation!

    Wonderful show!

    by Vicki on 2023-08-03

This show was very high energy with stunning costumes. A show for all ages! My 4 year old granddaughter wanted to go on stage and dance but that instead she danced in her seat throughout the entire show!

    Amazing performers and fabulous effects!

    by Kris on 2023-08-03

Took my 9 and 12 year old girls and they both loved it - so did I! Filled with humour, amazing performers with top notch voices. I’m he set design was also impressive with all the changes - moving pieces, flying carpet, and the first time Genie was introduced was our favourite number. Genie was a scene stealer - so funny! Very impressed, both kids and adults will love it.

    Aladdin

    by Tia on 2023-08-02

Other than the person who played Jazmin, the musical was amazing!! She literally brought in a feel of high school level Musical when she sang …. But The Genie and Aladdin were both fantastic, and the ensemble was perfect. The set was wonderful!! We loved it !

    Great performance

    by Mel on 2023-08-02

Genie was the best! Other characters were entertaining. The plot seems rushed but it's understandable. I enjoyed the quality of the songs.

    Underwhelmingly entertaining

    by GG on 2023-08-02

Was excited for this one. Genie stole the show! He was incredible in voice and expression and really impressive overall presence on stage. Aladdin was ok but could barely hear Jasmine. Her voice and overall expression was weak. I felt like she wasn’t really enjoying herself. Overall, the dancing was ok, a little underwhelming. The costumes and set design were beautiful. Set was well done and I loved the creativity with magic carpet ride and pyramid interior. More powerful voice and expression from some of the main characters and maybe prince Ali’s procession through the isles with big props would have elevated this performance to another level.

The costumes, music and actors were superb and

    by Granddad on 2023-08-02

Nana and Granddad took our 6 year old granddaughter to the show and she was thrilled, amazed at the MAGIC of it all. The place was filled with children and that added to the experience for her. Coming over from Vancouver Island makes it a fairly costly event to attend for retirees on a fixed income but was worth it for the memories we made and now share together. More shows like these please but consider a package deal for families on VI that includes bus, ferry transportation to and from the event along with a reduced fee overall to provide such an experience to as many people (children) who would not normally get to enjoy live theatre at the Aladdin level, as you can recognizing it is must still be profitable in the end. Tickets, ferry and parking (although we took a picnic to have a mini tailgate lunch in the parking lot which our granddaughter thought was 'so fun') cost us $800. We planned it over time but that is not something that can be a regular thing for us other wise and for many children and families not ever. Thanks for considering our feedback, The Arnett's
