About

Disturbed are a multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated metal band who formed in 1994. Vocalist David Draiman's scorching growl paired with guitarist Dan Donegan, bassist John Moyer and drummer Mike Wengren has helped the band score five consecutive No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 as well as 12 No. 1 singles on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. With singles like “Stupify” and “Down With the Sickness,” Disturbed’s 2000 debut The Sickness became the band’s best-selling album, earning five RIAA platinum certifications. After 2002’s Believe, 2005’s Ten Thousand Fists, 2008’s Indestructible and 2010’s Asylum, Disturbed returned in 2015 with the chart-topping Immortalized, led by a cover of Simon & Garfunkel’s “The Sound of Silence,” which reached a career-best No. 42 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2018, Disturbed released their seventh album, Evolution, followed by 2022’s Divisive. Over the course of their career, Disturbed has sold over 17 million records worldwide.

  • Disturbed kicked BUTT!

by LTrain on 2009-07-13Sound Academy - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Disturbed played alot of tracks that were just as good (or even better) than their recorded songs. Totally interactive songs like "Stupified" where the crowd belted back the lyrics with lead man David. Each song that was delivered was topped with the next song performance. The overall set moved up and down and managed to hit all the right songs at the right time, which definitely proves their professionalism and crowd pleasing antics. I would recommend Disturbed to any hard rock fan!

Disturbed are a great live band.I went to see skindred, but was very impressed with disturberd.Live sound is very close to there cd sound. Skindred put on a fantasic show, with there reggae/metal style of music. All that remains was the heaviest of the bands.Very tight and sounded great. A weird mix of bands ,but all were worth the price.

  • MOSH PIT FROM HELL! AND I LOVED IT

    by Mustanggirl29 on 2009-07-13Sound Academy - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This band is the most thrilling i've seen in a long time. They command that audience as if they ruled over it. If the lead singers was a God he could easily make it believable. I give this concert a full rating because the mosh pits were friendly and not filled with jerk that want to kick you in the face for no apparent reason. If you fell everyone helped you up that the way a mosh pit should be. Plus all the opening band really gears us up for Distrubed.Skindred was an open band that i have come to love. I never heard of them and i'm glad i got the oppurtunity to watch them. If you like Korn you'll like this band. It's a mix of hard heavy rock, and reggae. Might not sound so appealing but if you are adventurous in music you should be this band a listen.

  • Disturbed was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!

    by Jmanzx12 on 2009-07-13Sound Academy - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This concert was by far the best concert I have seen ever. Awesome opening bands, excellent venue and great atmosphere! I would most definitely see Disturbed again.

  • Best Lineup for Your Buck!

    by CAJ1337 on 2009-07-13Sound Academy - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This was the third time that I have seen Disturbed and it just keeps getting better and better. They hardly ever play the same set twice and this time they blended songs together to make you feel like you were getting more. I once saw them and they beat out the headlining band! In conclusion, I loved all the bands playing. All that Remains, Skindred and Art of Dying made this show one of the best concerts I have ever seen.

  • Awesome Show!

by SumGuy on 2009-07-13Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

This was my fifth time seeing Disturbed live....and they just keep getting better live! Honestly, this show and the previous time I saw Disturbed (Mayhem Fest @ Darien Lake) have been the 2 best Disturbed shows for me. So much power in the show....its relentless!!! Skindred was a perfect fit for the opening slot. I have wanted to see these guys live for awhile now, and they as well did not disappoint. It was obvious a lot of the crowd did not know who they were at first, but by about the 3rd song, Skindred had the place jumping!

  • I raise my fist to Disturbed

by Troubled on 2009-07-13Sound Academy - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Disturbed played an excellent set to an almost full house at Sound Academy on the docks. The set was excellent, especially the 5 minute drum solo. Would definitely go see it again.

  • WE ARE ALL DISTURBED!!

by rockdaddy on 2009-07-13Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

Wow, what a show - all three bands did a fantastic job of getting the audience involved, and rocking HARD!! The sound was SO LOUD and GOOD and the audience LOVED it. Disturbed is by far one of my fave bands and their live show was off the charts. Too bad it was the last show of the tour!! Rock on!

  • Disturbed and Skindred were awesome

by tazman on 2009-07-13Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

I attended this concert with my wife and three teenagers. Copps Coliseum was great, seating was good, sound was also very good and loud. I was not too crazy about Art of Dying who played first. Its not that they were bad, just not heavy enough for me. On the other hand, Skindred was an amazing opening band and really got everyone wound up. I would go to a concert just to see them, awesome and very energetic band. The lead singer is hilarious. They are now one of my favourite bands. When Disturbed took the stage, everyone stood up and never sat down until they wrapped up the show with Down with the Sickness. At times, I think the crowd was outsinging David. The easy access to the smoking area was nice between the bands so you could run out for a couple. I would go to Copps for a concert again. The layout for the seating was perfect for the typical Disturbed crown of 5000 or so. Every seat was a good seat. Vendors were placed in the upper hall and well spread out.

  • Amazing

by Suinier on 2009-07-13Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

The show opened with Skindred. A lesser known band and not so mainstream, but they put on an amazing show and really pumped everyone up. Then Disturbed took the stage. Amazing show, quite simply. They played many favorites and just had a wonderful performance. A must see for any fans of the band

  • Disturbed was amazing

  • I was Disturbed

by SHHWNG on 2009-07-13Sound Academy - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

The show was great, Disturbed layed it down hard heavy and never missed a beat, the sound was killer, the vocals were stellar, and the band played tight and dead on the money. The only down side was the venue, I know ticket sales dedicated the venue change, however the sound academy is not he best place to see a show........would not go back for another show at this location......

  • Sound Academy Sucks

by CMart on 2009-07-13Sound Academy - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

Worst venue for a concert........never again will i go there. Disturbed was good....too many opening bands. Not enuff parking. Overall brutal experience...sound was garbage.

  • Disturbed was excellent

by Gowylop on 2009-07-13Sound Academy - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Tickets were for my son. he and a friend went to see them. Easy transportation to there. They had zero problems. Best of all he said the place was great with indoor or outdoors area and the bands were unbelievable. He said Disturbed was better live than on cd. He can home on a high, NOT high.
