Don Williams put on a fantastic show. His voice is still amazing and although he isn't exactly an entertainer, he's a great singer and we got what we went for.
It was very exciting and entertaining. He was very lovely to listen too as we knew alot of his songs. I would go again if I could.
My sister loves Don Williams and I am glad I went with her. She said his voice sounds better then ever and what a cool deep voice he has when he talks. It was nice to hear the songs again. I am glad he talked to the audience and Mr. Don Williams looked like he was happy to be here performing. The words in his songs mean something. Charlie Major was very good. Was glad to see him do a solo performance.
Don Williams is timeless, i took my teenagers with me and saw they had tears in their eyes as well. His ability to touch your very soul is utterly amazing. I am blessed to have had the opportunity to see this Country Legend. I sure hope he comes back!!! His voice was strong and powerful. During You're My Best Friend, Don stopped singing and the audience took over... we sounded like a choir!! Absolutely Beautiful!!!!
What a fantastic evening with Don Williams!! His smooth voice and polished band are a pure joy to listen to. This is the second time we have seen Don and just as good as the last, his songs and voice are impressionable - GREAT JOB!!

He looked old but sounded fantastic! He sang all of his biggest hits. The crowd loved him and he was very humble and grateful.
I really enjoyed the show, I bought the ticket for my husband because he really likes him and I didn't think I would enjoy it as much as I did. He still sings very good and I knew alot more songs than I thought I would. So overall it was great. Easy listening and singing with the crowd was awesome.
He was ok...older...little bit rambling...good voice though.
Listening to Don Williams is like a night at home - what you see is what you get. No bells pure honest music. He has a richness to his voice , pure and simple. The was a comraditity in the audience all there to just enjoy. And we did
This was a wonderful show. I enjoyed his humor and interaction with the audience. His voice is still the same as 30 years ago. Cannot wait to see him again.
Great Concert! Great Songs! Don Williams and his band performed with effort. Glad to see Don in good shape! Hope it won't take him a long time to have a concert again in Calgary!

Every song was filled with true warmth of an open campfire in the evening summer breeze - his band has been with him forever and every note was true to the decades of his recordings from 8 track through to DVD. When he speaks, his voice seems lower than the lowest notes in his songs, wish he would say more but the ladies in the crowd here in Calgary would just yell "I Love you Don" even more LOLOLOL Absolutely a delightful evening, if you have a favourite Don Williams hit, he'll probably get to it and you will recognize every breath and note :) - just wished Don picked up that hollow-bodied Gibson to shuffle out Tulsa Time, makes him look so hot for an old guy LOLOL - but one of his other bandies did. Went home smiling with a song in my heart.
Don's songs are timeless. The music was enjoyable to listen to and it was fun to sing along with the songs. The band was polished. I enjoyed the concert imensly.
Don is the ultimate entertainer. Tried to pick out which songs were his greatest hits and we couldn't - they are all greatest hits!! He is the truly the gentle giant - we knew every song - excellent concert. Hope you come back again, Don!
I was so glad to see that Don Williams hasn't lost his silver voice. I saw him 30 years ago in the same venue. Awesome. Charlie Major was great also, even though he had a sore throat.
I thought the concert was not as good as his last farewell tour through Calgary. He seemed very weak at the beginning and seemed to have some problem with his sound system and kept stopping and trying to fix it. It certainly took away from the beginning of the concert. He did improve as the concert progressed but I was disappointed in the length of his set as he only played 1 hour and 20 minutes and I believe the last time through he played for nearly 2 hours. Overall it was enjoyable and I love his singing voice as he is so effortless and smooth but I don't believe I would go see him again if he comes through on another tour.

Don Williams concert was great. Only small problem at the beginning, there was sound/volume problems where the band was drowning out Don's voice at times. It improved as the concert went on. After the opening act by Charlie Major, there was about a 20 minute intermission. This was not formally announced, so there was a bit of confusion as to why it was taking Don and his band so long to come on the stage. For future concerts, any intermission should be explicitly announced.
