DPR Live In Concert

Hong Da-bin came up with his stage name DPR Live (the DPR stands for Dream Perfect Regime). The name comes from the label he co-founded with Ian, Cream and REM -- all of whom have adopted the DPR acronym to their stage name. Hong was born on January 1, 1993, in Seoul, South Korea. He eventually moved to Guam, an experience he talks about in his song "To Whoever." Hong Da-bin had a plan to pursue higher education, working on a psychology and philosophy degree. It wasn't until he was called to attend mandatory military duty in South Korea that he relied on his music to get him through. While in the South Korean military, Hong decided he would put academics on hold to go after his musical dreams. He began to write and compose music while serving his time in the military and hasn't stopped since. DPR Live released his debut EP Coming to You Live in 2017. He followed that up with a second EP, Her, which was released in 2017. The two EPs caught the attention of his followers, and he began working hard for several years to perfect his debut album. DPR Live released his studio album --Is Anybody Out There? -- in 2020, followed by 2021's IITE Cool. DPR Live has an inspiring life story that only fuels his creative mind. His fanbase around the world can't wait to see what he brings to the table next.

    Super fun

by Jen on 2022-10-07REBEL - Toronto

Had VIP meet and greet photos, it was a great time that felt like it went by quickly. The workers and security were very hood at doing their job and being strict and respectful. The only con was the crowd not being as hype as expected. DPR themselves were very great, they prepared an amazing show both visually snd musically

    Absolutely Jaw Dropping

DPR never disappoints. This concert was just as amazing as his last visit in 2018. Rebel atmosphere was great. No problems with security and everyone was civil.

amazing performance but need better venue

by hoya on 2022-09-28REBEL - Toronto

DPR delivered an amazing concert for their fans. The set design and lighting was top tier. However, the venue was very squished for the amount of people at the concert. Furthermore, as someone who is on the shorter side I had trouble seeing most of the concert and had to resort to looking through other people's phones. In the future, switching to a different venue or seated tickets would have been more accessible.

    DPR in Toronto

by peachtea on 2022-09-28REBEL - Toronto

Their performance was awesome. My favourite part was at the DPR creams part he's super talenteddd (SHOW HIM MORE LOVE) How they decorate each stage was super beautiful you could totally see the difference between each member's art. the setlist was also great. the only problem was with the fans I couldn't enjoy the show entirely because everyone was pushing from the back it was super uncomfortable I couldn't even move my hands because people stand super close to each other. Also how Rebel managed the concert was pretty bad too, I had an early entry ticket, and I got in the venue same time as regular ticket, so what's the point of buying early access?

    DRP REGIME

by Kat on 2022-09-28REBEL - Toronto

DPR put on an amazing show! Would 100% recommend this concert to fans. It was visually amazing, the effects were phenomenal. You could really see how much effort was put in. There was also a lot of crowd interaction from all the members. A very well thought out concert. The venue on the other hand was awful. Staff was rude, so unorganized it was insane. They had VIP waiting in line from 2-7:30, confiscated all food and said we couldn’t go to the bathroom during that time either. If we left the line for any reason we weren’t allowed to return into the line. All while staff was eating in front of us, drinking and laughing. Mind you it was also very cold and raining heavily. We understand not allowing food into the venue but while we are in line, having it confiscated so early had people fainting and needing water during the show. One of the artists DPR Ian even having to ask the security to hand out water multiple times before they complied. Genuinely the worst venue I’ve ever been to. I would love to see DPR on tour again, but not at REBEL.
