Drew Lynch's show was a lovely blend of peppy optimism and some realistic snark. I have seen him twice now and absolutely will make sure I see him any time he comes to Toronto.
Drew Lynch was good, as expected. We were however disappointed in how short the show was... we were in and out in under an hour an a half. Drew was on for less than 45 minutes. We love stand up comedy and go see several comedians and unfortunately this show was way too short for our liking. When he ended it, we thought (or hoped) maybe it was intermission...
Getting into the theatre was quick and efficient. The only thing i would say as someone who isn’t from Toronto it wasn’t obvious where the theatre was as it’s in a cul de sac (which drew made a good joke on that) parking at lot 4 was 16$ flat rate and was A quick 2-5 min walk from the theatre. The seats in the theatre were comfy and cleverly marked which seats were ours. The opener was hilarious and got the room ready. Drew made lots of Canadian jokes while throwing in some jokes he had planned. My sides were hurting from laughing so hard. After the show he was kind enough to meet and greet probably over 200 people which was really awesome. We were in the back of the line and it took about an hour + to meet him but was so worth it. Got to meet Stella and drew and he is super nice in person. Would tell anyone who hasn’t seen him to definitely go see him! I want to again !
Drew had us laughing the whole show. His opener wasn’t that bad either. Would recommend seeing him
Drew Lynch is amazing! I didnt stop laughing the entire show. He has great material and rolls with the crowd. Loved the show!
