HOW TERRIFIC ?? TAO TERRIFIC !!

by Wsticks on 2016-01-26Casino Rama - Rama

This was a phenomenal show. The drumming was incredible on many different sizes of percussion instruments. The show built really well. If you just had number after number of drumming it might become repetitive. But this show also had flutes and string instruments like sitars that played moving but more gentle numbers. One number I won't forget was drummers lined up back to audience at the front of the stage playing large drums. Their feet were locked in under the drums and they leaned back over the edge of the stage to play these drums. The athleticism and strength to do this was mind boggling. There was humour in the show and tumbling and a moving dragon. There was a nice touch that performers came out at the end of the show to the lobby to sign CD's and DVD's. I would highly recommend anyone seeing this powerful and joyous celebration of the TAO Art of Drumming ! Martin / Uxbridge Ontario

It was amazing to see how they can express their story and emotions through instruments like that. Having three children, it was disappointing the venue was 19+ and at casino building. I can see their performance would be much more successful in the larger venue closer to downtown core.
