About

Dua Lipa is a pop singer from London, England. The Albanian-English songstress released her self-titled debut album, Dua Lipa, in 2017. The studio set contained breakout singles like “New Rules” and “Blow Your Mind (Mwah),” and quickly established Lipa as a rising star on both sides of the Atlantic. The singer’s 2020 follow-up, Future Nostalgia, debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200; was her first album to reach No. 1 in her native U.K. and spawned Top 10 singles “Don’t Start Now” and “Levitating” before earning Lipa her third Grammy Award (for Best Pop Vocal Album). Following successful collaborations with Elton John (“Cold Heart [Pnau Remix]”) and Megan Thee Stallion (“Sweetest Pie”) as well as a Grammy-nominated single from the Barbie soundtrack (“Dance the Night”), Lipa released her third LP, Radical Optimism, in 2024.

  • Star Security

by Merelyn on 2022-07-30Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I was happy with her performance! She was 5 stars. Not so happy with Star security, I asked one of the security guards up front to help me with a person who was pushing me into the barricade. He said he couldn’t do anything, and that it was part of the concert experience. Instead of helping me, he turned the blind eye to the situation. I would have never paid vip to be trampled and not helped.

  • Left early

by Smash on 2022-07-30Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

Extremely expensive for the quality of the performance. We ended up leaving early.

  • Shame

by Leo on 2022-07-30Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 1 out of 5

Dua Lipa gave an absolutely spectacular show. Shame the same cannot be said about Msle and the Scotiabank arena who didn’t do their job to protect the safety of concert goers. Appalling.

  • Who did the lights for this concert?

by Bad lighting on 2022-07-30Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

Could barely see the stage. Seemed a bit poorly put together. She has a beautiful voice but production needed some work

  • AMAZING!!

by FabioCG on 2022-07-30Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Dua Lipa is the best pop musical exponent of today, taking all fans to another level of experience through her songs, choreography, professional dancers, sounds, lights and her unparalleled visual experience through her huge screen.

It was a great show and had a lot of energy . getting the hot ticket package made it so easy

  • Meh

by BellaSoul on 2022-07-30Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

The crowd was not hype. No energy. She can’t dance (bless her), and the overall production was mediocre at best.

  • Amazing

    by Smiley87 on 2022-07-30Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Loved the remixes in between, that she spent alot of time on the extended stage, couldn't see much at times being on the floor.. Minus the unmanned fireworks it was soooo good. I wish she did her older songs to and more acoustic so her voice could shine and a longer show but she looked incredible and I'd see her again for sure.

  • Great show. Fireworks a no

by Dua Sheepa on 2022-07-30Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Shame security at Scotia bank arena doesn’t value the safety of its customers

  • Love

by Alex on 2022-07-30Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was amazing. The only one thing I didn’t get, who is doing fireworks inside of building. Looks a bit cheap and unsafe.

  • Dua Lipa is Awesome

When have you ever been to a concert where every single person in attendance danced through the entire concert with big smiles on their faces? Answer: Dua Lipa in Toronto. What an enjoyable evening with an incredibly talented entertainer.

What a great show! Hit after hit! ‘Future Nostalgia’ is THAT album. Absolute pop perfection. Dua nailed every note and move - the whole crowd was loving it by the looks and sounds of it. Can’t wait to see her again!

  • Amazing experience

    by Minab23 on 2022-07-30Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

What.A.Night!!! It was my 11 year old son’s first concert and we always jam to Dua Lipa on the radio. We honestly didn’t know every song she performed but it didn’t matter the show held it’s own and we were entertained the whole time. Unfortunately, at the end, we were met with random fireworks that went off. While we couldn’t tell if they were part of the show they did seem amateur and learning about the cause the next morning was disheartening. Scotiabank Arena really needs to step yp their security measures and while I had to open my bag for a check they only glanced inside at best.

Would've been better if large TV screens would be on. Section 320 we hardly saw anything.

  • god in the flesh

by giuseppe on 2022-07-30Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

  • ate

    by Lane P on 2022-07-30Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

dua ate, devoured, and gobbled up her performance. concert was so good until the fireworks happened at the end which was totally not dua’s fault. overall experience from dua was excellent and from the arena was not too excellent considering someone somehow snuck in those fireworks.
