Loved the concert. Good seats and good view of the band. Played alot of new songs as well as old.I only wish they had played my favorite song "Save a Prayer'. Also there was not merchandice to buy wich was disappointing. I would have loved a program but was told the truck that had the merchandise was stuck at the border.Anyways still a great show and hope they come back soon.
Duran Duran sounded great and had the audience out of their seats and dancing for the majority of the concert. Fantastic! I'm still humming some of the songs today!
I got my girlfriend tickets because they were her favorite band. I was very pleasently surprised. Simons vocals were spot on and they sounded great. The crowd was standing the whole show. I wasnt a big fan before but now i am.
Great show - nice mix of new and old material. Great energy from the band and crowd!
Awesome Concert-- had Row 13 main flr...but I made it to Front Row Centre Stage for the whole Concert. The Fab Four Looked Awesome, Ageless! I had lots of room to Dance on the Casino Main Floor. Great Crowd- us 40 somethings know how live it up at Concerts. No Sitting for us. Duran Duran played a nice variety to cover their 30 yrs. I would have like some Material from "Red Carpet Massacre." I love you Simon, always will.
This show was way better than the last show I saw (Red Carpet Massacre), where I thought they were finally starting to show their age a bit. But this time, the guys were upbeat and Simon sounded better than ever! It was like the old Duran Duran! The crowd were excited and everyone had a great time. The group is always interactive, so never a dull moment. (Lots of big hair spotted in the crowd though!!!!)
I took 5 friends and we had a blast! They sounded great and the stage setup was pretty impressive for such a small venue. Wished they would have played more of their older stuff and thought they could've done a longer encore, but overall highly enjoyable.
What an amazing night!!! To see Duran Duran in such an intimate venue was an incredible experience! As a lifelong fan, I can honestly say they are sounding better than ever!!!! I plan to see 3 shows on this tour and it just won't be enough!!!
How can you beat this combination? Duran Duran and a theater with a 1100 person capacity? Sounds improbable, yet it happened! In nutshell, they were amazing. The band is as tight as they were in 1984! Like John Taylor said at the end of the show: "We'll keep coming back if you keep coming back!".
Duran Duran put on a good show at Epic in Minneapolis. They played an extensive set list, which included several new songs and a lot of the classic hits as well. Overall, they sounded really good! The only downside to this show was the venue. Unless, you're able to get there very early to stand close to the stage, you'll be left with a terrible view. This club is designed with many pillars obstructing the view of the stage. I'd rather see a show at First Avenue in Minneapolis over this place any day!!
I've seen the boys four times. 1989, 1993, 2005 and 2008. They never seize to amaze me! I've been fortunate to have had floor seats every time. Although Simon has some difficulties hitting those high notes in some songs (Ordinary World being one), it shows we are all human. Great live. I've seen other bands live and never listened to them again after.. They are great performers and give you what you pay for. Their music has matured..and like a fine wine, they get better with age. Keep up the great work!!!!
Saw them in 2005 (Montreal) and again in 2008 (Toronto)....fantastic!!!!!!!!
The band was super tight. Splendid performance. All the old favourites. Simons vocals were awesome!
Venue was great, they played all the hits. Encore was the best with the James Bond themes and then going into View to a Kill. Sound and voices were very good. I still love them!!!
Amazing Show! Well worth the drive from Victoria, B.C. Can't wait to see them again!
The venue at Marymoor Park was excellent. They were very organized there and had plenty of staff to make everything go smoothly, almost like they have done this before. I saw Duran Duran a year ago and I liked how they changed the set list.
Duran Duran at the Pearl Theatre in Vegas at the Palms was fantastic. Saw them 25 years ago and they were great then too .. John, Roger, Nick and Simon were great back then and just as fabulous this time. Wonderful theatre for them to perform ... got the fans up close to the group.
The show was really great. Enjoyed it thoroughly, and had a good line of sight despite being in the nose-bleed section of the Pearl Theatre (Las Vegas). The entire band perfomed really well, and brought the crowd to their feet dancing. The show is definitely one to see. Only issue - I wish they had played two of their biggest hits (Hungry like the wolf, and Reflex). I suspect the songs were meant to be played as part of encore #2, but the crowd dispersed after the first encore - with die-hard fans still shouting for these two songs (to no avail). All told though, it was a great show!!! Recommend it!
