Dwight was amazing !! Would go again but next time on the floor to dance :)
Excellent venue - plenty of room too dance - sit 10 rows from the stage ( in a chair you brought of course) - nice people...from secutiry staff too food/drink servers.....happy and smiling...not to mention the crowd....unbeatable sound.......Every band was great.........DWIGHT CLOSE UP ARE YOU KIDDING????....tickets well worth the $50.00....prefer this any day to rexall!!!!!!!!
Excellent! His performance made up for the cool- crappy weather.
The weather wasn't pleasant but that didn't seem to discourage Dwight from singing his heart out to the eager crowds at the Rainmaker Rodeo. The show was fantastic and Dwight is one of the finest country music singers we've ever seen. He sang song after song of his number one hits. It was thoroughly enjoyable.
Dwight is still really, really good! Unfortunate. Tthe show organizers believed they had to fill an evening with up-and-comers(?). Makes the evening less enjoyable when you have to kill five hours "hangin'-in-there" till 11:30 for the act you really wanted to see. Sure do a warm-up act, but just get on with it. Geeez.
INCREDIBLE!!!! Dwight and his band were awesome, they were on stage for well over an hour and even came back and did another 3 songs because the crowd was going wild. This was one of the best shows I have seen in a long, long time and if you're a Dwight fan, then definitely see him live. Weather was cold, plus 4 degrees and the band must have been as cold as we were, but they put on a truly great show. Well worth the wait and the money....
I really enjoyed this event. The worst part about it was standing for 6 hours in one spot. Tickets and advertisements claimed a 6pm show. Gates didn't open till 6:30pm, show not till 7pm, not a big deal, but sure nice to know when planning things out, considering I had to be up at 6am and the show went till after 1am. Dwight Yoakam puts on a great show & he looks like he's enjoying doing it. He performed alot of old hits, didn't talk to much, and had alot of energy. Adam Gregory was full of energy, sounded great, and connected really well with the crowd. One More Girl I did not enjoy. There soft melodic parts sounded great but they like there mich's cranked so when there screamin there hearts out into them they'll be the last thing u ever hear when ur ear drum explodes. Craig Moritz has a great attitude for the stage and the whole band sounded awesome but personal opinion is the lyrics fall flat. Jo Hikk acts like ur goofy buddy onstage, sounds good, and couple songs songs sound real promising. Only prob is that I couldn't see paying specifically to see a goof.
Great show!!! have not seen Dwight in over 3 years & He still has it. played for over 2 & half hours . Had his regular band with him(Eddie Perez,Mitch M, Josh G & Jonathan on bass.) He sure has a lot of great songs. Can't wait to see him live again !!!!
The concert was Amazing. As always when Dwight hits the stage. Played for 2 hours, about 34 songs and it was non stop. He made one speech and it was a Thank you for coming even during a struggling economy. I thought that was very nice. One complaint I have is strickly with the Casino. I booked a Hotel with them about a Month or 6 weeks before the show and they told me when I got there that they were over booked and I had to stay at another hotel. They paid for it which I wouldn';t have settled for any less. I don't feel when you make a reservation that this should happen. Other than that little problem the whole night was wonderful!!
We had great seats (floor, 12th row, middle section) and Dwight and his band were amazing. The sound was equally superb.
Dwight's performance on Saturday night was awesome. I have listened to his music for years and have loved his voice and guitar playing but to see him sing and play live made me truly appreciate his talent so much more. He is a natural Entertainer !!!
The concert was amazing!!! He played straight through for 2 hours. The Colosseum was extremely clean and well orginized and the staff was very helpful.... I would recommend anyone to the Colosseum! :)
The venue was very good. We were in the 10th row, side stage. The accoustics were good. The crowd was fairly sedate, but three quarters of the way through a crowd gathered in front of the stage. Dwight's voice was sweet and true. He performed for 2 hours. It was staight ahead singing with a few of his signature dance moves and of course super tight jeans. The lead guitarist was killer and a little flashier with his rock moves. We had a fabulous time.
We realy had a good time. It took us 12 hours to get there by car but we realy enjoyed our trip with my sister inlaw, a real Dwight Yoakam groopie. We would do it again anytime.
Great show! His voice came across very true. Some feed back could be heard occasionally but otherwise glad we bought the tickets for this show!
Great Time! Lots of great songs. Glad we didn't spend the extra money for seats at the floor level though. Crowds began standing along the stage blocking the view of a lot of older folk who weren't able to stand for long periods of time.
This was an awesome show.Dwight's voice sounds great. The band was super. My husband is the real fan, but I was totally won over!
We've seen him at another concert and he still performs to the utmost expectations that he, as an entertainer can do-simply awesome. His show and his backup singers, crew could not do enough to please their audience. You would not be disappointed with his show. Thanks again for a good evening. Nick & Janet
He sang all his hits for 2 hrs straight - no breaks!
