What do you do when you grow up with three musically gifted siblings? Start a band, of course. That's what L.A. vocalist Sydney Sierota did with her brothers Jamie (guitar/vocals), Noah (bass/vocals) and Graham (drums). In a short amount of time, Echosmith has brought its dance-y, starry-eyed anthems, like the summer hit "Cool Kids," from the Sierota home to the American public, opening for acts including Owl City and twenty I one I pilots. And even if you don't recognize their name, you might have heard their song "Come Together" featured in commercials for the 2012 Summer Olympics. Just goes to show, the kids are taking over and we hardly even know it's happening. Their debut album, Talking Dreams, is out now.

I'll admit I hadn't listened to the latest EP before going to the show, but it was nice to hear the new songs live! Echosmith is a really sweet band (I love that they're siblings!) and they've come a long way since the first time I saw them in 2015. That being said, I feel like a lot of the focus is put on lead singer Sydney - to be fair, she has a wonderful voice - and it felt like less of a group performance and more of a solo project. Still, it was great to sing along to songs like "Bright" and "Cool Kids" and overall, it was a lovely Sunday night show!
Wanted to see them perform for s while now. They were very entertaining and had a good rapour with the audience. Would see them again for sure!
Originally bought the tickets to see The Colourist open for them. Both artists provided great performances in an intimate little venue. Highly recommended
First time being at Rio - interesting venue for a concert but it works. did not enhoy waiting in the cold rain for an hour. door didnt open till 6:30. Loved the intimate experience - both band, The Colourist and Echosmith were great. First time hearing the Colourist, loved them - was about to get their CD and it was sold out. The only downside.
Echosmith was great they performed with energy the whole tile I had a blast and got to dance on stage with them so that was cool. I had an awesome time at their concert.
