These Watch Parties are genuinely fun! The viewing of the game on the jumbotron, provided by Rogers / Sportsnet makes it feel like you're watching the game in happening on the ice. The realtime projections of the players on the ice is also a cool feature. The Orange and Blue Ice Crew and all the stands in the concession give it a real game-day vibes.

Would be better if they played the same/similar pre-game stuff that they do during home games. Not much extra hype other than Hunter (who is awesome!). We went last year and had an amazing time, this year it was just watching the regular tv feed as at home with a bigger screen and more expensive food and drinks. Opening up both sides of the bowl instead of the corners for better views of the screen would be good too.

The whole experience was amazing!! All the extra things that can be done on the concourse! Make yourself a hockey card was fun and who doesn’t like meeting past players ?? Soooo much fun !

It was my second time to the watch party. Had a good time again with my family and friends! Was lucky to take a selfie with the marching band and the lynx before the game! Hope there were more events during break times: some performance would be nice. Otherwise, it was great time and looking forward to going back soon :)

Attending the Oilers watch party at Rogers Place this past Tuesday was a thoroughly positive experience. Staff moved guests through quickly, and the entry points were well-managed. I was inside and settled with minimal wait—exactly what you hope for at an event of this scale. The atmosphere was nothing short of electric. Sharing the space with so many passionate Oilers fans created an energy that felt just as intense as a live game. The giant screens, sound system, and synchronized cheers made the game immersive and communal. It was a genuine celebration of the team and the city. I want to express particular appreciation for the Edmonton Police Service members on site. Their calm, visible presence made a real difference. I felt completely safe throughout the night, and their professionalism contributed meaningfully to the overall sense of comfort and order. Special mention goes to Lane, who was responsible for Section 101. She was professional, approachable, and genuinely helpful. Her friendly demeanor stood out, and she made sure everyone in our area felt welcomed and well looked after. People like her elevate the experience and reflect well on the organization. Overall, this was more than just a watch party—it was a celebration of community, team spirit, and thoughtful event planning. I would absolutely attend again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a vibrant, safe, and memorable way to support the Oilers.
