C'mon, Josh, lighten up. This show may be a big ad for Tims but who cares when the audience just loved it? We laughed at all the Tim Hortons references. We EXPECTED them! And we were treated to some terrific and well-known actors: Sarah Farb, Chilina Kennedy, Peter Millard, Jake Epstein, Kimberley-Anne Truong. And the whole production under the guidance of Michael Rubinoff. (Think "Come From Away") Most of the songs were tuneful and well sung, credit going to Britta and Anika Johnson. The story by Nick Green evoked warm feelings. The cast pulled off some complicated non-dance choreography - again, delightful. The entire show was Canadian to the core and we ate it up. Joshua, not every Broadway show deserves a Tony, but not every Tony winner is even memorable. The Last Timbit is. I hope they mount it again so more Canadians can enjoy the Timbit.

The actors had wonderful voices but the writing could have been more exciting. Sometimes it felt very hokey and choreography wasn’t always great.

  • Funniest ad to date

It’s definitely an ad for Tim Horton’s but it’s hilarious. The songs are fun and the cast is good. Definitely had a great time!

  • lots of memories of years of enjoying Tims

the show was very lighthearted, funny, touched on so many clichés associated with "Tims", touching at times......i did not see it as a giant advertisement at all.....the sound was a little off......not sure if the orchestra was too loud (i don't think so) or the microphones on the singers were set too loud......seemed, at times, the singers were almost screeching......all in all, i loved it

I did not know what to expect but was blown away by how down to earth and comical this performance was. It was perfectly cast, tons of hilarious and notable Canadian references. My son and I absolutely loved it. Amazing all around!

  • Great Singing - Way Too Much Promotion

by County Lady on 2024-07-02Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

Very talented group. I enjoyed the singers and the singing. The storyline was about average. The story wasn’t as good as “Come from Away.” I really thought they pushed way too many promotional items and visuals for Tim Hortons. It was a little tacky to do so. Some funny moments in the play.

  • Laugh-out-loud show

If you loved Come from Away, you will love this show!! 90 minutes of almost non-stop laughter. A couple of tear-jerking scenes, but otherwise a whole lot of great Canadian moments. What is a more perfect setting, than being stuck in a Tim Hortons in a snow storm!! You have to go see the show!!

Outstanding actors, great staging, and hilarious inside jokes that only Canadians can get. Well done!
