Great show…..
by Kate on 2021-10-27SaskTel Centre - SaskatoonRating: 3 out of 5The show was awesome, the lineup to get in was bad, lineups for beverages was very bad and then there weren’t enough taxis to accommodate safe rides home.

The show was awesome, the lineup to get in was bad, lineups for beverages was very bad and then there weren’t enough taxis to accommodate safe rides home.
Loved it. The staff were great and everyone in attendance was in a great mood.
Best concert I have ever been to. Have been waiting for a long time to see him again. By far better then any other country performer out there but doesn't get the hype because he won't bend to all the flakes running the industry. Should win entertainer of the year every year. And who else puts out three records at the same time. Like I said EPIC!
First show back at the Saddledome since all this Covid BS and I gotta say… Eric Church puts on a good show! Well worth the wait! No intermissions and no opener, he played the whole night! A great mix of covers and all his new and favourite hits played along to a great light show! Eric seemed so down to earth, actually walking around the crowd and touching hands, signing items and accepting gifts. This concert is worth seeing and 1000% would see Eric Church again! Couldn’t be happier!
Eric church is an amazing performer and sang for over 2 hours! He waited for everyone to get in as it was the first concert since Covid. The Sasktel center ran everything smoothly for the first big event in almost 2 years.
The concert was great. But I don’t appreciate the late start. That just pushes the drinkers to drink more and not wear masks.
Eric Church and band made us in the audience feel so appreciated. More so then I’ve ever experienced. I’m 66 and I’ve attended dozens of high level music events. Eric Church and band are at the top of their carrier and lead the way with skill and humility.
Brutal lines to get into the building in the cold (took 40 minutes), alcohol lines were a 20 minute minimum wait with a two drink per person maximum so you basically couldn’t watch the show and have a drink. Eric was great! Sasktel centre.. figure it out.
Gathering again with Eric Church, his electric acoustic guitar and his band in the cozy confines of Canada Life Centre sent chills down my spine time and time again (or should I say song after song)! Freakin' awesome show. 35 songs of pure Country Rock bliss. C'mon man! Stick That In Your Country Song! Smoke A little Smoke! Homeboy! Creepin'! He obviously has a "thing" for Winnipeg as he revealed at his Winnipeg concert in 2017 (we were one of the first places to ever support him) and it certainly shows. He cares. He is one of us....it doesn't get better than that folks. World class show. Love this guy. How 'bout You?
Excellent concert. They played 3 hours without an intermission. First concert since Covid for me. Would definitely see him again.
This was a fantastic experience for the first concert back since COVID initiated.
The music was the best - the energy throughout the place was amazing!!!
From the time he took the stage to the time he left had everyone in the palm of his hand. A ton of energy, good use of the stage and interactive with as many fans as he could. Joanna is hands down one the best female singers out there and toe to toe Eric and her are unstoppable. Hearing her sing Like Jesus Does. , wow, it cuts your soul. A must see show, if you can see more than one show then do it. He’s Entertainer of The Year for a reason. Seeing the bands faces too we knew they loved it as much as we did.
Wow awesome show. Eric was on and gave 100 percent. Sound quality was poor. Hard to hear up top in Saskatoon. Mask insanity prevailed where masks came off and out we headed. Wont trust compliance of venue folks or ticketmaster for safety first. Sadly fellow concert goers were the issue. Eric needs to remind people to have fun but party with a mask on!!!!
I have seen the chief three times now. This was not his best show. However, it was so nice to get out to a concert again and feel human again and interact with humans again.
The Eric Church show in Saskatoon was awesome. He put on a great show as usual. The sound was spot on, he’s very crowd friendly and now he has the library to play all night. However, we waited an hour to get into the Sasktel Center. Venue seemed overwhelmed with the Covid protocols. Some of our party had been in Calgary for the show the night before and only waited for 15 minutes. If there is a show at Sasktel Center in the winter, we won’t be waiting outside for an hour. Good on Church for holding the call nicety off for an hour to wait for all those still outside. Eric Church is a must see
Eric Church was AMAZING !!!! My first concert ever and couldn't have asked for a better entertainer !!! Venue however left a lot of room for improvement. As a first timer no clue where to go ,what to do, no one to really help or guide you. One member of our party was on crutches, definitely not accessible if hurt ! Little choice for drinks sorry but not everyone wanted Original 16 or Nutrl's . Trying to get a cab afterwards was a complete joke!!! There has got to be a better set up than the mess that was going on but hey who doesn't want to wait 3 hours for one !!
More staff! Your staff handled everything well considering the lack of staff. Having more staff behind consession, and the entry doors would help so much!
I went ahead to get prescreened (this is the beat thing we ever did)!!! I spent more time in line for drinks and food than I did watching the concert- this was very disappointing. There needs to be cash only lines so the debit and MasterCard doesn’t slow us down because I feel that was the big difference between this concert and other concert.
Eric Church was outstanding and this was one of the best concerts that I have ever attended! The one downside was that the sound quality wasn't great, although it may have just been where our seats were located. One annoyance was the number of people talking throughout the show. I would go see Eric Church again in a heartbeat.
