The show started so badly that by the band showed up I was counting down the minutes till I could leave. Defiantly not the best I didn’t even make it to the end!
Eric Church, The Band, Joanna Cotten and the entire crew are the best in the business! Calgary and Saskatoon were both unique and incredible shows. 2.5-3 hour shows with no opening act and no intermission! If you haven’t been to an Eric Church show yet, make it a priority. It will be the best show you’ve ever seen!
I was so excited to see Eric Church! I have seen him 3 times previously. He is no doubt talented, but he played 40 minutes of acoustic & covered other artists songs. I did not expect or super enjoy that. The sound was not good. People in attendance did not follow the mandatory protocols. If there are rules, follow them, if not don’t bother making them.
Omg best concert ever Eric Church you rocked it. His soul performance before the band was very memorable. even the band was awesome can’t wait to see him again.
It was ok. Dissapointed in the late start, likely caused by the need to check for passports thanks to the Dome's exclusionary rules, under the recommendations of the GoA of course. Turns out Eric's not the rebel he's made out to be! Joanna (his backup singer) was the highlight of the show for me. That girl can sing!
Just give the man Entertainer of the Year right now. He opened his own show with a half hour alone on stage and then the band joined home for over 2 hours. He rocked the joint. This man give everything he’s got and then some to his fans. Incredible concert!
The only small item was some of the vocals got over powered by the music and hard to hear. But an excellent show to hopefully start the road back to regular!
The Chief never disappoints!!! Love that he never has an opening act and he leaves it all out on the stage each and every time!
As usual going to Church did not disappoint. Audience interaction was fantastic.
There was a very long wait to get in to the concert. It had to start late because of this. We also would have liked to upgrade the tickets but couldn't figure out how and there was no one to talk to. Eric Church was great but it just had a lot of hang ups along the way...I would give him a 4.5 out of five but the rest of the experience dragged things down. We understand that things are new with the covid rules and hopefully they will be able to work the kinks out...
First time to go to a concert, line up didn’t take long. There was plenty of staff to assist for directions.
Eric Church puts on the most amazing shows! He was so interactive with the crowd! To have the normalcy to go back to a concert was the greatest experience. The only downfall was that it took forever to get inside the venue to the point that they had to delay the show. I understand it was because of checking vaccines but it just wasn’t thought out well and also displayed well on what doors to go through. But overall incredible show!
Best stage design ever. All shows should follow Eric Church' s plan..and EC ...great as always!
Ticketmaster is horrible to deal with so if you can avoid and buy 3rd party tickets I would definitely suggest that. Also the line ups inside for drinks are absolutely embarrassing. The venue needs to address this as it is always just embarrassingly bad. Takes 45 mins to get a drink. The actual music and concert was amazing, great set up as well. Deserves a better venue and ticket retailer.
Fantastic concert!!! The stage setup was perfect and I never felt like he played one section more. The large screens helped fill the gaps when he was facing away. Johana Cotton has a fabulous voice and made the concert extra special. Eric Church played his heart out and I would definitely go see him again!!
No one were wearing masks even if they were not actively drinking or drinking at all. No policing event to ensure people were following public health mandates. False sense of security attending the concert
Loved the fact that the stage was central within the venue. Allowed everyone to have a closer view. Also loved that there was two smaller stages that Church was able to move about to get closer to the fans. Finally, I truly appreciated that the concert was only open to vaccinated persons, however I was surprised that there was no confirmation that the proof of vaccine shown was actually shown by the related person. I know it would slow the line a bit but if there was someone walking the line prior to the entrance requesting people have ID out it would not be that much slower. Great work overall and thrilled to see live music again.
I never thought I would ever see Eric Church but to see him here in Winnipeg my home town was the greatest concert of my life 🌹🌹and shared the experience with two of my grown children they love hun as well ❤️❤️
The concert was AMAZING! Unfortunately the line ups to get in were VERY long. The concession line ups were CRAZY long and slow which probably led to the concert beginning late because half of crowd was on the concourse.
