Spectacle extraordinaire par un grand artiste français entouré de musiciens tout aussi extraordinaires. Finalement après avoir reporté le spectacle deux fois en raison de la Covid, c'est avec impatience que j'attendais ce spectacle.
Excellente soirée! Francis Cabrel, ainsi que ses choristes et musiciens nous ont offert tout ce qu’il y a d’exceptionnel chez Cabrel. Ses nouvelles chansons étaient très bien, merci.
Le spectacle a duré plus de deux heures, sans intermission. Certains musiciens et choristes ont pris des pauses, mais pas Francis Cabrel, présent pendant tout le spectacle. Et c'était extraordinaire! Tous ses grands succès, et des nouvelles chansons. Et pas des versions abrégées, mais les chansons au complet. C'était ahurissant. La foule était en délire mais posée et toujours assise, sauf à la fin pour les derniers applaudissements. Un des meilleurs spectacles de ma vie (et celle-ci est assez longue!).
Finding a parking spot was a bit stressful, but we made it on time. Our seats were super nice, the concert was amazing. Super impressed by the musicians and also of cource Francis Cabrel
Francis Cabrel did not disappoint. He sung for over two hours straight at the NAC in Ottawa. He was so dynamic and it was one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen!

Francis Cabrel gave an excellent performance - everything was perfect, from the «un plugged» beginning (a few songs with just his guitar) to performing with his band, in which members used a wide variety of instruments. The sound was fantastic (I don't think that you can get better sound than Southam Hall at the National Arts Center in Ottawa). It was a great, memorable experience; he is a master of his craft.
the seating for the floor seats needs to me modified....stager the seats from row to row so that there's a space between people in front of you that lets you see the show. Imagine having a tall person right in front of you the whole show or someone with a big head of hair. easy to do with major satisfaction.
Love going to the avenir centre, i have been 7-8 times and am always looking to see what is coming up next!!
A great venue and perfect evening for the concert. The opening act was an up and coming young artist from the area and once a few electronic issues were sorted she proved to be an excellent singer. Francis gave a stellar performance as usual. He was extremely relaxed and joked with the audience. His music is timeless, intricate and delightful. I have been a huge fan since hearing his music from my French professor at university in 1987. Can’t wait for his new release and return to Canada on his oh too brief tour.
Bought tickets for my wife's birthday, I am not a big fan however my wife is very much so. The show provided a sense of intimacy, relaxation with the beautiful sounds of the music, the clarity of his voice and at the easiness of understanding what was being said. Very impressed with the quality of this concert/spectacle, my wife was really glad (the first time she sees him perform in person). I would recommend anyone looking for good entertainment and a good feeling inside too go see Francis Cabrel….he is worth it.
Amazing musician and singer still after all these years! Almost 70 yrs old and still got it
We where well seated in the center of the orchestra section . The lights and sound was good. Francis and his band gave a great show with a lot of his best songs (oldies) and a few newer tunes. Cabrel's voice is (impeccable). The reason I gave the show 4 stars , is the screamers and howlers in the audience, they are out of control !!! . Screaming and jumping up as the tune starts and at the end ,they spoil the show for a lot of fans. I wonder if I will return .
Really loved his concert. His voice is so beautiful has not changed at all. Really loved his new songs, his music touches your soul. And his musicians were also superbe!!
Perfect musical arrangement! Excellent musicians that respect the lyrics! You can hear every word clearly! Incredible acoustics!
We really felt included in the show. Cabrel was personable and played directly to us, customizing some tunes to make them just for us, not just another repeat of the original recording session. Band members showed immense talent with their skill on multiple instruments. Really enjoyed the 3 different accordions used and the varied strings and styles. The sound was much bigger than expected with such a small group. Loved Cabrel's folksy style and the ballads all told a good story. Enjoyed being at the last show of his tour.
We had a young lady from Timmins Ontario as the opening act Celeste Lévis and she was great, beautiful voice and then Francis Cabrel for over 2 hours non stop. Treated us to his new stuff and his old classics that everyone was singing along. Just a super evening with a great artist. I strongly recommend next time he comes around.
