Great energy, great sound, great fan interaction! Best show I have seen in some time.
Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls are great live performers.
Frank was incredible! I can’t believe I finally got to go and see him. I’ve been waiting years for my chance to see him again. The opening acts were phenomenal and the entire show was astounding. Frank really engaged the audience and it was an incredible time. I love him and can’t wait to see him again. If you like punk rock, you MUST see Frank live!
Another great show by FT&TSS! Good venue from around the early 1900s (WW1 era?) in an area of Toronto I've never really been but I'll come back to. Beer was cold and I didn't need to take a loan to buy a few. The band played for around 2 hours a great selection from Frank's career. Shout outs to the recently departed Bowie and Lemmy......even covering Ace of Spades!
Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls are absolutely phenomenal live. This is show #6 for me and my husband who's always been more of a death metal guy and kind of ''meh" on Frank Turner had an equally great time seeing him live for the first time with a full set. High energy, clearly super into making sure everyone had a good time and obviously having a great time themselves too. If you're on the fence about going to see Frank and the Sleeping Souls live, do it!
Frank Turner & the Sleeping Souls were just amazing. From the Time they opened up with Eulogy to the last verses of photosynthesis and every hit in between, it was a non stop sweat fest . My hat is off to Frank and the boys in the band this is one show i will never forget. See you in April i can hardly wait. TG113 Oh P.S. Loved the Queen Cover it fricking rocked.
The recent show at the Phoenix in Toronto was a blast. This guy and his band were amazing live - be sure to catch him when he returns next April
The first act was a B, the second a D, but Frank Taylor was brilliant, and well worth the 11:00 wait! Please bring him and the band back as soon as possible!
He played 2 of his biggest singles in the first 3 songs and then put the show into high gear. Great playing and passion. One of the best live shows I have ever seen.
The first band that played Into it Over It was great, he was funny, sounded awesome. The next Band Andrew Jackson Jihad was alright I didn't really get them but they sounded alright they were pretty funny as well. Frank Turner played to a packed house and it was spectacular! Frank is a real showman. Everything was perfect.
Frank Turner put on an absolutely amazing performance. From the minute he stepped on stage he had the entire audience captivated. With his opening song "I Knew Prufrock Before He Got Famous" the entire audience was singing along and you could feel the energy in the room. It was a pleasure hearing Turner play and share stories, he definitely connected with his audience. I was blown away and cannot wait to see him again in concert!
I'm 54 years old and was probably the oldest person at the show -- got turned on to Frank Turner through my daughter --- great writer -- dynamic and hard-working performer. Plays with absolute conviction
The best show at that size I have ever been at, one man on stage putting everything into his songs, it's a must see. Funny stories, good crowd, amazing cheap price. Played the good old songs and new stuff that is just as good. Good crowd interaction and just an amazing artist. The only problem I had was that he asked for another shot from the bar and they took way too long to get it to him, next time get him a shot ASAP. Just kidding, kinda.
