Garth Brooks elevated country music to a level of chart-topping dominance in the 1990s that eclipsed Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson and The Beatles. During his unstoppable run in the decade, Brooks introduced arena-rock bravado to country music, and in the process modernized the genre with country-pop classics like the 18-times platinum No Fences (1990). His chart-topping albums have made Brooks the bestselling solo artist in U.S. history (selling over 170 million albums worldwide), and his record-breaking concert tours have cemented him as a touring juggernaut and one of the greatest live entertainers in the U.S. In 2009, Brooks began his five-year Garth at Wynn residency in Las Vegas, which set the stage for the epic career showcase that is Garth Brooks/Plus ONE, his current residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

We travelled from Grande Prairie, Alberta. The man put his all into this concert in Edmonton on the Saturday night! He pretty much was on the run all over the stage for 2 1/2 hours straight! He sang all his songs and then sang other artist's songs. It was awesome and he looked genuinely surprised at the audiences reaction to him, the band and his wife's performances. Down to earth artist that is really wanting to make his audiences happy and not rip off people by charging the high prices of other artists. All concerts should take a little from Garth Brooks and charge reasonably. Way to go Garth! Will go to see you again if you come back to Edmonton.
Good tickets great concert…only bad thing was they need to figure out the drink lines. It can’t take almost an hour to get a drink
In my opinion Garth is the greatest entertainer ever but the Stadium concert can't come close to seeing him perform in a smaller venue. The sound system was great but there's no comparison to seeing him in a stadium as there is to seeing him in a much smaller setting. Glad I went but just not the same...
First time at a Garth Brooks & a open stadium concert. We drove in from Calgary and really couldn't have asked for a better evening. The concert was amazing, ticket and merch prices were reasonable. The only complaint I have is that the concert wasn't long enough. We couldve easily listened to the both of them till dawn. It was a very magical night!!
First time attending a Garth Brooks show. First time in 20 years in Edmonton attending an event at CommonWealth. Can't fully describe, the indescribable escape and joy of celebrating humanity, connection, the miraculous and wondrous power of music. Trisha's entrance, dancing laughing and hugging strangers. Hearing past pains being released, maybe just for a weekend, for some longer. Can't wait to experience another one. To the crew, behind and on stage, and especially the Edmonton friends and fans, thanks. Life altering. Sometimes God's greatest blessings and beatitudes are the unanswered (in our minds and clocks) prayers left for the right moment in time, hope and health. Cheers y'all. Firsts are always special, anticipate the memorable magic to continue next time we share something so spiritually sound. Hope can hurt, bit it's worthwhile because in the end Love wins. And laughs at hate.
Went to the Saturday Concert. The concert was spectacular. I wanted a Garth stadium clear bag. They ran out prior to the concert. Probably by 6:30. Merchandise lines were crazy. 2 small tents at either end. I think there were Merch tents outside too, but we didn't look for them. Should be able to have a better system. Concert started late. about 7:45. Friday night started at 8:30. Line ups to get food or drink were crazy. There should be a better system. Used the bus shuttle to get to and from the Stadium. Very well done.
Venue needs a better food and beverage set up. Ridiculous lines to concession stands when there is plenty of room to have mobile stands throughout the venue.
What an amazing show words cannot describe the evening we spent with Garth in Edmonton!
This is the third time we've seen Garth Brooks. Loved every show. The weather was perfect for an outdoor concert. Garth puts on an amazing show, you are never disappointed. I was super excited to see Trisha come on stage. She is also an amazing entertainer and they are so awesome together. Hope to see them again!
