    Wouldn't hesitate to go again!

by Catie on 2010-05-19Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

The sound wa great - just the right volume to comfortably enjoy an evening of fantastic music and lots of laughs. Both Danny Hooper & Gene Watson are VERY professional entertainers, keeping the crowd involved with both music and wit. Would have liked to hear more from Pete Hicks - his voice is very soothing and easy to listen to. The CFCW Crew wee great - again - it is nice to meet the folks behind the voices.

    Gene watson was great

by Lizzzzzzz on 2010-05-19Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

The first half of the show was too loud we came with older people and they left at half time. Which was unfortunate because the second half was much better. I think it was the band that made the difference. I also got a headache during the first half. Could not understand what danny hooper was saying half the time. Gene Watson show was excellent i was glad that we decided to stay for the second half. He is such an excellent singer and his band was so much better on the ears thank you.

Sharon Mallon introduction at the beginning exceptional. Danny Hooper show excellent. Pete Higgs barely got started and then left --- not sure what that was all about. Poor accoustics at the Jub -- get a new venue. Why does such a nice facility have such poor quality sound?

The event was absolutely superb. And Gene had what appeared to be an ironed crease in his jeans.
