    Don't Waste Your Time

by DebsyDeb on 2015-10-25Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

I've seen FAR superior plays at high schools! This was a poor performance with a very poor story line with subpar acting and singing. The 5 and ONLY 5 actresses spent more time looking and being off the stage than on and by intermission I was dying to leave but stayed to TRY to justify spending the money I had. The ONLY thing good about this play was the camaraderie of the other women in the AUDIENCE who were ALSO trying to have a 'girls night out'!

Girl's just want to have fun

by Anonymous on 2015-10-25Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

The atmosphere was electric and the characters were awesome. We weren't sure what to expect but laughed the whole way through. Audience participation was encouraged and added to the show

not really my cup of tea

by MBfanforever on 2015-10-25Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

the talent was great but the storyline wasn't super in my opinion. I felt it was cheesy and a little predictable; however my expectations weren't very high either as I read reviews after purchasing tickets

    A Laughable Evening

by lageno on 2015-10-25Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Five of us attended, but found that many times it was hard to hear what they were saying, which is unusual for the Jubilee. Would also have been nice to have a Playbill to get some information about the performers, etc.

    Singing was a bust!

by Tduke on 2015-10-25Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

When the musical started out it seemed promising. By the end I would say I was hugely underwhelmed. The acting and portrayal of the characters was spot on. The singing left so much to be desired. At one point, I think the song was "Girls just want to have fun", the performance was a mess. I also thought the stage scene was poor. When my friend asked me before the show what I thought it would be like my exact words were, "well it's playing at the Jubilee, so I imagine it's got to be pretty high caliber!" I've seen way more professional shows at Stage West dinner theatre. The saving grace of this show was the character and singing of Anita. She nailed it! Too bad she only had one solo.

    Girls Night: The Musical

by BKDG on 2015-10-25Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

I attend a lot of live shows and some aren't as good as others but Girls Night: The Musical was terrible. The show was low-budget, no props to really speak of and the writing was horrendous. I don't think we laughed at anything except at our own misery and tried to make the best of being there. Tickets were over-priced and the humor was crass and classless.

Girls night was a GREAT night out!!

by Yukonjill on 2014-11-10City Theatre - Detroit

This show was amazing, funny, none stop action. Never a dull moment. The actors really pull you into to the story. You feel like you are back in high school going thru everything that they are discussing on stage. Music was wonderful. Those girls can really sing. Would definitely recommend getting your besties together and enjoy a"Girls Night" out!!!
