Rating: 3 out of 5Good Until Gord
by WenJen on 2021-10-03SaskTel Centre - SaskatoonI loved George Cannon and Charlie Major (and I don't care much for Country), but Gord Bamford's performance was off the mark. Four songs in a row about getting drunk. His first song, 'Blame It On That Red Dress' was in poor taste, especially with regards to what the red dress symbolises to the Indigenous people: MMIWG.
We were there to honour and reflect on Truth and Reconciliation. The event was called 'Every Child Matters', and Gord Bamford did not focus on that.
