Good show. Really enjoyed the opening act - Washboard Union too. Hard to enjoy the voices as the volume was too high on the music.
Washboard Union was great! They will go far. Gord Bambord was really good, and had the girls swooning. We waited months to see Joe Nichols. Big time fans of his for years, with every CD he ever put out. When he came on, the music was so loud and muddled, you couldn't understand a word he said even when he was talking. He sounded really out of tune - whether it was the sound system or him, it was hard to tell. We finally walked out after four or five songs.
What an amazing show! Go see him live <3 it's so worth it.
Overall Gord Bamfords show was great! Very good interactionw with crowd, very personable and good energy. His band is amazing, the bass player has an incredible voice and his fiddle/banjo player is insane! Joe Nichols however was a little lacking. I was quite disappointed in his part of the show as I was really hoping for a killer set. He seemed to have lot of issues with his mic, overall did not shine like Bamford and Co.
The concert was freaking awsome!!! The seats were way to close together though. Felt like people were almost sitting on me.
Enjoyed the concert for the most part, was disappointed with Joe Nichols as I found the music very loud and you couldn't hear him or the words to his songs which I love. But was so happy with God's performance, could hear him and the words and his songs really touch the heart!! Keep up the good work!
Joe Nichols & Gord were excellent. We really enjoyed the show including the staff from 95.5 The young up-&-coming young star who sang, we think he will be the next Keith Urban. GREAT SHOW!!
The show was great, of course Gord Bamford is a hometown favorite ! Wonderful voice, Joe Nichol was good, however we felt it as too loud (don't know, maybe too much base ?) knew the songs, but very difficult to hear the words, as too load !
Gord Bamford and band - verrrrry good. Much as I enjoy Joe Niichols singing, his band was way too loud and drowned him out - verrrry disappointing.
Enjoyed the music very much, however found that the Joe Nichols portion was too loud - often the sound was distorted. Hard to hear the lyrics at times.
Gord Bamford put on an excellent performance and sounded as good as he does on the radio/CD. We would definitely recommend this performance.
This was my 2nd time seeing Gord Bamford in concert. Once again I was blown away by his performance. The way he interacts with the audience is flawless. It is my dream someday to be able to afford a meet and great with this wonderful man. I was fortunate enough to have met him and his entire band when they stayed at the hotel I was working at last year in Medicine Hat. The new cd "Tin Roof" is amazing!!!
It was omNe of the best concerts I've been to. He did an amazing job.
Gord was amazing and we sang along to every song and enjoyed his new ones!
I was entertained from the moment he hit the stage, until the last song, really enjoyed, loved his stories behind the songs. His band was unreal, especially the blond female singer and the fiddle player loved it . Felt his songs, especially Little Guy, I felt that song could be about my husband when he speaks of our sons birth.
We loved Gord Bamford before we saw this show but now we love him even more. Not only is he a super musician, but his songwriting is fantastic. He writes from the heart and more than a few of his songs brought tears to my eyes. And what a nice person he is!!! He was respectful of everyone in the audience and gave kudos to all of the people who were up there playing with him. Would we go to see him again? No question.
Gord interacted with the crowd in front and in the audience. His band was also great. He sang all of his hit songs. I came away knowing that Gord is a true family man and a fantastic Canadian Country singer!
I really enjoyed the concert. Gord's voice was dead on. He maybe could have interacted with the audience a little more. One thing I was disappointed in, was that he doesn't have a steel player. When you hear his songs on iTunes and the radio, there's always the steel in the background which gives it a wonderful twang. I felt it was lacking at the concert but overall a very good show. Also thought he should have played Hurtin Me Back.....
Amazing show!!! Would go again in a heart beat! The band is just as amazing as he is which makes for an awesome show!
Gord was excellent. He could drop the opening act though I wasn't impressed by them
