Great show, great sound and man was Gretchen hot. She country rocked us and rocked us all in one night. One caveat...If your gonna sell Jack (booze), make sure you cut the drunks off and keep them out of the theatre. Drink - ok, Drunk - spoils the show for the folks nearby.
Theatre is great, Gretchan was really good & personable. Loved the show, would definitely go again.
I don't know if it was the venue or her sound system but you couldn't understand most of the words. There was not merchandise for sale.
Was my first time at the Avalon Ballroom Theatre at Fallsview Casino and I was very impressed. There was NOT one bad seat in the house. Our seats were amazing. We were in the 2nd row. Fantastic view of the stage. And sound quality was one of the finest as was the light show. Gretchen put on one "HOT" show for everyone. Her singing is truly awesome. She also had some new talent with her and she too was amazing. Her band members are truly a gifted bunch of people! An unforgettable evening!!!
We would not recommend this concert, it was only 1 hr and 10 minutes, out of that time her band played about 20-30 minutes She had another singer, who is her backup singer that she has signed up under her new record label who performed, she was good, but I came to see Gretchen. She only played 3 of her old songs & then played approx. 5 songs from her new record, they were good, but nobody new them. It was pretty quiet for a concert of hers as she is a wild performer & her concerts are usually pretty wild, not this one. Extremely disappointed considering the money we paid, we feel we didn't get our monies worth & if she comes back to the Fallsview Casino we will not be attending.
She was fab but the event was a little too short for our liking. It ran just a little over an hour. We were hoping for at least an hour and a half.
My husband I went to the concert together. We had very good seats & really enjoyed the show. Her singing & band all were very energetic & entertaining.
The event was good, but it was to short and Gretchen could of played some more of her own songs.
The concert was very short for the price of the tickets. She should have had a better supply of songs or the ticket prices should have been less. Seen much better for less money.
Combination of her great voice, energy and conection with the audience made this an amazing event.
This performer is so much better live then even her recordings. Her vocal applications too both her own recordings and those of others(Barracuda etc.) was more than amazing. She is a crowd pleaser par excellance. I was taking my daughter (25 years old ) on a Daddy Date. I will take her to see Gretchen every year. If you missed this one , your loss. Book for the next one. Even though her stage setup was scaled back from the previous year she still had a great set list and kept the party alive... had a great time in the front row.... Gretchen is still #1

If you don't know Gretchen's music you will like her right away because she puts a lot of feeling into hewr live shows and can really sing. out of all the concerts i've seen Gretchen was one of my favorites. Gretchen interacts well with the audience talking about her new cd and the songs from it.
Fabulous show. Not sure at first when the heavy rock stuff was playing but she then started to do what she does best! Can't wait for her CD.
this was my first concert at Rama - and it was awesome. Gretchen and her crew were very entertaining and kept us dancing in our seats. The staff does a great job of getting people settled in their seats and moving us out when it over - well done!!
I purchased my tickets last minute. My seats were amazing! Gretchen sounds just like the record and she sang new material as well as her other hits. She looked great and put everything into it. Her band is great, and I loved when she sang the Canadian national anthem. I would like to tell all the folks that LEFT as she was about to sing her last song, that I was totally disgusted by that. Even Gretchen stood there and said "Where the hell are you all going?". So next time, unless it's an emergency ... don't all get up and leave like that. It makes us look bad. She rocks and go see her every chance you get.
Seeing Gretchen Wilson was one of the best events we have ever seen at Casino Rama! She gave her all to the performance and went the extra mile to entertain! If you get a chance to see Gretchen Wilson we would highly recommend booking those tickets and you will have a good night of entertainment!
We were looking forward to this concert. Show started at 8:15 and ended at 9:20. That was only because she did one encore!!! When the whole band played you could not hear Gretchen. We had great seats but the bass was way too loud for her voice. After 30 minutes quite a few older people seemed to think it was necessary for them to leave. I am sure it was the noice factor. Would not attend another concert at Casino Rama. Great venue, but poor concert for the price.
