Guns N' Roses in Concert

Following the group's 1985 formation, Guns N' Roses injected unbridled, unrivaled, and unstoppable attitude into the burgeoning Los Angeles rock scene. The spirit went on to captivate the entire world with the release of their 1987 debut Appetite for Destruction –the best-selling U.S. debut ever, moving 30 million copies globally. In 1991, the seven-time platinum Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II occupied the top two spots of the Billboard Top 200 upon release. Over the course of the past decade, Guns N' Roses have performed sold out shows and headlined festivals worldwide following the critically acclaimed release of 2008's RIAA platinum-certified Chinese Democracy. Six studio albums later, Guns N' Roses are one of the most important and influential acts in music history and continue to set the benchmark for live performances connecting with millions of fans across the globe.

Guns N' Roses on Tour

Guns N' Roses announced North American dates as part of their epic 2020 worldwide stadium tour in the summer. The powerhouse performers bring their uninhibited signature sound and dominance to millions of fans across the globe starting March in Mexico City. The colossal Guns N' Roses 2020 Tour steamrolls through Toronto, Chicago, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Lisbon, London, Prague and so many more. GNR are the first ever rock band to perform at the long-awaited Los Angeles SoFi Stadium and hit MetLife Stadium on the opposite coast, home of the New York Giants and New York Jets.

The iconic rock heroes show off their vast catalogue of hits on the road including "Welcome to the Jungle," "Paradise City," "Sweet Child o' Mine," and "November Rain." The announcement comes on the heels of the band's first show of the decade at Super Bowl Music Fest that invaded Miami for Super Bowl LIV.

In 2016, Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan shocked and thrilled fans around the world after revealing they were reuniting for their now historic Not In This Lifetime Tour. The band brought endless energy to more than 150 shows, playing for more than 5.5 million fans worldwide.

Guns are back and are better than ever !

by rockinryan on 2010-01-14MTS Centre - Winnipeg

From the starting note of chinese democracy to th last note of paradise city Axl Rose proved he has moved on from the old days and is better than ever ! The band is full of professional musicians who deserve every positive review given to them. If I had the money i would travel to see this band guns n roses many more times. Axl's voice is great and his attitude seems relly positive. It looks like he is having, the band is having a great time up on stage and the length of these shows prove that. Chinese Democracy is here and Axl is back for good ..........................................................................................................

This was Axel Rose not G N' R. Axel is amazing.

    by Ashes2Ashes on 2010-01-14MTS Centre - Winnipeg

Axel should not have kept the band name Guns & Roses, he'd be actually huge again if he'd call it a solo project. Axel was excellent, his new music is great and was performed with more energy than the classics we grew up. However this was not Guns & Roses it would be better and more accepted if called the Axel Rose project. Great stage show and hired guns in the band.

Axel has seen better days but still can rock!

by Shananigans on 2010-01-14MTS Centre - Winnipeg

Great live performance, although Axel's voice was noticeable drowned out by much of the back up music throughout the performance. Band didn't make it on until late (11:00pm), after making the crowd wait almost an hour, which wasn't as cool. Awesome that the band covered old GNR hits too....One of the most notable moments was the crowd-assisted rendition of "Knocking on Heaven's Door", which Axel first dedicated to the people of Haiti, and then to his recently deceased dog. Nice touch. Also thrilled that they did "November Rain" and Axel rocked it on the piano again! (not quite like the original music video, but still!). The downside to the concert was that there wasn't much crowd interaction overall, and I couldn't help but get the impression that this was just 'one more show' to Axel. Maybe Axel is getting tired in his older age?? The first performers, Sebastian Bach lit up the crowd with a high-energy performance, but maybe it's not fair to compare the two. I just hope Axel rests his voice and takes it easy so he has the stamina to make it through the entire Canadian tour!!!

The Wheels Are Back On For Axl and Co.

by GNRULZ on 2010-01-14MTS Centre - Winnipeg

While the crowd was not nearly as large or responsive as it was back on Dec 4, 2006. They still ate up everything that GN'R offered, the new material seemed grow tiresome but the classics would still get a great reaction. The trio of Richard Fortus, Ron Thal and newcomer DJ Ashba (who played a solid set but was unable to reach the level set previously by legendary guitarist Robin Finck, especially on the song Better). Overall the fans got their money worth. Sebastian Bach as always showed that he still has some of the best pipes around. Great Show!

    Axl was awesome!!!

by Grimm on 2010-01-14MTS Centre - Winnipeg

Axl was amazing! I think he sounded better than he did in the early 90's. I was worried he might sound like Vince Neal but his voice was awesome. Best front man ever. Played pretty much everything from Appetite (except My Michelle I believe). New stuff sounded great. A couple of sound problems but that's it for problems. Almost 3 hrs on stage! Who does that anymore? A definite must see

    G N R = Awesome!

    by Korath5 on 2010-01-14MTS Centre - Winnipeg

I wasn't sure what to expect from a band that only has one of its original members and the lead singer is aging, but WOW was it ever great! Axle and the rest of the band were fantasticly energetic, the showmanship was top notch and well worth the price of the ticket. Great job G N R!

    Axl and G 'N R rocked!

    by thrill2000mail on 2010-01-14MTS Centre - Winnipeg

My expectations heading into this concert were not very high. By the time it was over, I was completely blown away! Opening acts (including Sebastian Bach) put on a good show. Then G 'N R took the stage... 3 hours later they had finished putting on a spirited performance. I would recommend this venue and Guns 'N Roses to everyone!

    Taking too many breaks

by Maxine369 on 2009-11-30Air Canada Centre - Toronto

I am a big G&R fan ... I was soooo disappointed that after each song Axel went back stage leaving about 2 to 5 minutes of lapse time between songs. BTW - it was not wardrobe changes .... There were too many opening acts and it seemed like a side-show before he came on. Should have figured it was what was meant to come - a side show ... I think Axel needs to sing a few songs on stage without going back stage ... I'm never going to see him again ... not worth the money ...
