Hadestown (NY) Tickets

While some might complain that there isn't a lot in the way of spectacle or set dressing I think they were so innovative in how they used the moving pieces of the stage and lighting to convey tone and location. But truthfully the reason you go to see Hadestown is for the amazing talent of the cast. Everyone we saw were total pros - I got to see almost the full original cast during my performance save for Hermes who this time was played by Anthony Chatmon II, with whom I was super impressed with. All of the singers sounded like they were ripped straight from the broadway recording it was amazing. If you want to see some truly talented singers and musicians go see Hadestown!

One of best musicals we have ever seen. If you're in NYC...definitely get tics to this show. Tou wont be disappointed.

An interesting retelling of a Greek myth. Beautiful simple staging and some moving songs combined with strong performances by the cast. Not my fave from this NYC trip but enjoyable. Theatre was freezing cold

My son and I drove to New York from Montreal Canada. This was to be our first Broadway Play. e were not disappointed. We were in the second row, incredible view. We never saw the 3 hours pass. It was simply amazing. From the great singing, the choreography, and the ambiance made this a perfect visit. One we would definitely do again. With the Jon Bellion show we saw the previous night, it was a homerun weekend. Thank you so much.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the show. The stage was beautifully done. The cast was great but Andre De Shields and Amber Gray stood out for me. My daughter called the ending "gut wrenching" and she was still in tears after the curtain came down. Beautifully done!!

It was breathtakingly beautiful and captured me with every moment and word. Everyone put emotion into every move, note, and breath. My first musical on Broadway and it was unforgettable!!!

From start to finish, an excellent production. Vibrant singing, updated retelling of an old story using some new metaphorical/allegorical twists. A must see!

So great we saw it twice! This show is beautifully performed and staged - a breath of fresh air and a magical escape. Would see it again and again if I could!

It was like watching Michelangelo paint the Sistine Chappel; an experience cammot be pit in words but when you were watching it, you knew you were witness to true and pure artistic epiphany.
