Hadestown (Touring) Tickets

The show was excellent and the performers dazzling. The musical talent was the highlight, not followed far along by the dancing. The elements of production were well put together. It was difficult to hear the occasional word the actors said. I couldn't see details in the characters' facial expressions due to the seats (highest balcony), but the meanings and mood were still communicated boldly enough through full body action and tone of voice to comprehend the emotion of different beats.

I was already obsessed with Hadestown, and thrilled at the opportunity to see it live. Living with an immunocompromised person and respecting the ongoing threat of COVID even while masked, the crowded indoor event I go to these days is pretty bloody rare. But I'm so, so glad I took that chance to see Hadestown. The music was as wonderful as ever, but there were so many things about the staging and choreography that heighten the impact of the songs, making moments that already moved me more powerful, and opening my eyes to moments I'd overlooked. The cast was wonderful, and I'll carry the memory of that night with me for the rest of my life. It was a gift, and a gift that's pretty rare for me these days. Hadestown was a compelling and beautiful experience from start to finish. Every single actor's portrayal of their character was so magnetic, it was difficult to decide who to watch - and each musician played brilliantly on stage! If you have the chance to go way down to Hadestown, take it immediately (as long as there are no papers to be signed etc. haha). Bravo to Anais Mitchell and all of the performers, musicians, and crew!

The cast was amazing. One of the best I’ve seen in a while the second half of this show is such an emotional rollercoaster. Loved it.

Great show! Glad the crowd was also awesome. This is one of few underrated musical anddeserves greater acknowledgement. The performers effectively and beautifully made you love the gloom.

This performance was fabulous! Such talented people. The singing and dancing was superb. I would definitely see this Broadway on Canada musical Again!

I loved the set, the show, the cast, it was an incredible production. There was a little surprise after the bows (skip this if you don't what to know what) where they sang mic-less and it gave me chills.

Hadestown has everything a musical should have! Brilliant creation of an old story that is so relevant for our times, for humanity and for love. Fabulous cast, voices and musicians! I loved it so much, I watched a Broadway film/overdub of it the next day. There are so many layers to this musical (it is definitely NOT high school level - that would be Hairspray!) related to the lyrics, the foreshadowing, the two sets of lovers. The set was fantastic. I knew nothing of this myth and am so happy I did not know the ending. Will definitely go see it again. Hamilton is now second on my list.
