Just OK

This show was well worth the money. I would recommend it to everyone.
I wish I had watched the movie first, Very good production glad I went
This show was so exciting from the moment the curtains parted to the very end. The actors were full of energy, cast perfectly for the roles, the costumes fun, and the set cute. It was a vibrant experience and my mom and I loved it!! Would go again and again. You can’t stop the beat…
My daughter and I went to see hairspray this past week and let me tell you… it was the quickest 2/1/2 hours I’ve ever sat thru! The music and show was so bubbly and bright it went by too quickly. If you have a chance to see it do it!
The show was engaging, relevant energized upbeat and accurate
Seeing Hairspray on stage has been a dream of mine since first discovering the musical, and this production did not disappoint! All the leads were cast so perfectly, and so talented. They had me in tears before Tracy even got out of bed!
The vocals were amazing along with the acting. I wanted to get up and sing and dance myself. The leads - Tracey, Link, Motormouth and Edna had amazing debuts and vocal range. I loved how the ensemble supported each other and made the production whole by moving sets and singing. The word play on cowtown was a nice touch to mention they were in Calgary. Overall I’d recommend this to anyone to see and personally wanna come back again to watch it closing night!!
