Although the story is rooted in a classic tragedy, this production also features the compelling flip side: the human potential for love and forgiveness.

Choreographer Yuanyuan Wang, one of China's leading dance makers, shares there is no singular moment when that speech is delivered, but rather is a question pondered throughout the entire ballet. An original score by Dirk Haubrich provides the musical backdrop for this riveting contemporary ballet, completing the richness of this feast for the senses.
