Very disappointed the concert was in Hindi. He sang a few lines of Tamil in the end and the crowd was happy. Throughout the night people were yelling for him to sing in Tamil. I don't remember there being an alert saying the concert was Hindi only when first booking. Dunno if others had the same experience with booking.
We bought these tickets before we knew the entire concert was going to be in Hindi. Weirdly enough, when I went back to look at more seating/tickets for more guests i saw a note saying “This concert is in Hindi.” I don’t think it was there before when I first bought my tickets. Majority of the audience was Tamil. Hariharan is a Tamil. He’s more famous with Tamils. What a wasted opportunity to do the entire concert in Hindi . He could have sold more tickets and made everyone happy if he sang in BOTH Hindi AND Tamil. He needs to think about that.

Hariharan is a legend! He came in with his own (talented) team of 3 additional backup singers and a band (guitarist, percussionist, drummer, flutist, pianist), and gave SUCH a genuine performance. The best part was that Hariharan'a voice was louder than the background score, which gave a pleasant listening experience too. I attended this concert in November 2023 at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto, Canada, which enhanced the while acoustic experience too 🥰
First time listening to the maestro live and it was truly a nostalgic experience. Hariharan's voice hasn't aged with time and he hits every note perfectly. My only gripe was that he sang hindi versions of his iconic songs. The audience erupted when he sang a bit of tamil right at the end of the night.
What a talent Hariharan sir has! We absolutely enjoyed his singing, his sense of humor, and more importantly his sense and knowledge of sargam. It was a fabulous show along with other artists. Really worth the money.
Expected to hear at least 50% Tamil songs. Heard one verse of the last song in Tamil. Thoroughly disappointed. Will not attend any more of his concerts run by these sponsors. His repertoire is not Hindi Only. Should have advertised saying he was only singing hindi songs. We wouldn't have been cheated!!
I personally feel the acoustics could be better but may be due to lack of the facilities other venues boast. Additional concessions would also be nice. Adding some screens so audience at the back can see the performers more clearly would be great too. 7/10
Had a great experience of watching & listening to one of the greats of Indian music . Hariharan showed his masterly talent with an amazing show full of his gems . Very fortunate to be sitting there absorbing all the melodies off his vocal cord .
Should have done mix of Tamil and Hindi or only Tamil. Only sang the last song in Tamil and the crowd loved it. He has so many hit Tamil songs not sure why his sponsor or he wanted to do a Hindi only show.
