Such a great family night out fun for all!!!We all really enjoyed it and would go again
The show was fun and entertaining. Really good for younger children.
I was disappointed in n the show. I remember Harlem Globtrotters as being ex NBA players not people who know how to play B ball. There is an excitement with having an opportunity to watch ex NBA players playing the game they love. It was not what it could be.
The globetrotters were entertaining! All the players were very friendly both before and after the game! Our favorite was Beast! My son can't want to see them again! Highly recommend for a family friendly event!great dance moves globie
Been over 30 years since I last saw this show. Took my son (9) and a friend of his (11). Neither had seen them and were both excited. We also bought Magic Pass tickets for the pre show to meet and do tricks with the stars. Worth every penny. Of course the show was fun to watch. So many goof ball antics along with reluctant volunteers and crowd participation. Everyone in this show makes it a worthwhile watch. Drama, suspense, comedy, action ... you get it all. The newest addition to the World All Stars (opponent team) 'Cager' at 7'5" about (exact may be off a little) towers over even the tallest players. Little ones sure learned a lesson about bullying in this show with 'Cager' playing his role pretty good. A nice thing to see was that the Harlem Globetrotter team (including DJ) stayed to sign autographs for free after the show. All went very fast. As mentioned in pre game opening: they've been creating lasting memories and traditions for many years. I couldn't agree more. Was glad to see again. I'd forgotten the last time I'd seen them but never forgot the name or where. Great family entertainment that is safe to see without worry and worth every penny.
Absolutely entertainingorgeous from start to finish!
An awesome fun-filled event! You never knew what to expect.!
I have been waiting to see the Globetrotters since 1973, worth the wait. Good clean family fun, great athletes good actors, funny show.
The basketball was exceptional but we paid about $40/ticket and the seats weren't great. The acoustics weren't great. The only seats I would recommend would be the court side ones.
I am so happy I chose to take my kids to this game. I've never seen my kids sit through any event for the full time and all my kids did was laugh and were in awe as well as constantly said to me "did you see that". However, I wouldn't do the pre-show Magic pass again as there was only 30minutes and for the amount of people that also attended the Magic pass that is not enough time. My one child(12 year old) was only able to meet 1 player and get his picture with the mascot. Not worth it for the price I had to pay as due to the noise level and amount of people my other child(9year old) was to scared to even step foot on the court.
The kids loved it, got to go close to the players at the end for autographs and photos.
Was disappointed overall. Much less actual game play than expected, stopped during the game (literally) to plug a sponsor. My kids were bored overall and would've like to see more basketball and tricks rather than just dialogue and singling out fans to bring onto the court, wouldn't take my kids again, they were bored after the first 'quarter' which had the clock running while plugging advertisements.
These guys are Great when they are shooting hoops and doing tricks...the rest of the show is pointless stupidity. Let them pass, play and show their talent and save us from the bad theatrics and misbehaving. It was a total waste of $115
I took the family to see the Globetrotters last year in Vancouver. I couldn't believe my eyes. The players had some talent, although nothing like the originals. But about half of the "game" comprised lame timeout arguments between the coaches and the referees. Most of it was unintelligible, although they were miked up. What you could hear was dumb. Our four-year-old found some of it funny. I was embarrassed at having wasted the time of the adults and teenagers. Apparently there are several Globetrotter teams. They must send the worst show to Canada.
See them almost every year and have a great time each and every time. Ant was the Globetrotter who was audible this year and he was great!!!! We love seeing them every year and can't wait until they come back.
Entertaining start to finish; extremely engaging with the crowd ...
The show was fantastic! It is great that the MTS center has places for people with wheelchairs and walkers. Without these spots some wouldn't be able to enjoy the shows. The only thing that wasn't the best was the sound. It was very hard to hear and understand what was being said. There was an echo or something.
What a disappointment. I could not believe how much this show sucked. This show was a complete joke, the HG came out at the begining did about 10 mins of tricks and that was it. The rest of the time was spent on a phoney basketball game where the only tricks they did was pass the ball 10 times before they scored which was stopped every few baskets and became a talk show for 10-15 mins. The speakers that were set up were not in sync with eachother so I could not understand what was being said most of the time. I was so fed up with the show within the first hour my kids and myself walked out as did the people sitting behind us. $90 wasted. HG were big on stating they have been around for 90 years but it was not because of the actors I paid to watch. This was the worst event I have attended.
The Globetrotters were a blast and the Meridian Centre is a perfect cozy venue!! Family loved it!!
This show was so much fun! Even the "bad guy" was funny. The globetrotters were amazing, singing, dancing making us laugh the whole time.
