Harry Potter Live In Concert Tickets

The live orchestra - the movie - the reaction of the spectators in the room! Terrific! Think about it a whole orchestra playing with a movie playing and having the reaction of the spectators when something good or bad happens - All the senses are involved - There were people there who were 3 or 4 years old as well as people in their 80s some children dressed in costumes even some adults - all Harry Potter lovers that is for sure! Wonderful!

It was wonderful and magical but I wish I sat more centrally or in mezzanine so that I could see all the instruments!

A rush of emotions and goosebumps! At the first strikes of the xylophone we knew we were in for something truly special. The incredible NAC orchestra brought life to the film and smiles in awe to my family's faces.

After paying over $100 for this show you’d think you’d be able to hear what you want to hear, but the 30 year old virgins in the crowd would shut up throughout the entire show so all you can actually hear are the dreams of girls who still live with mom and dad. This show is worth maybe $10 for all you got to hear. Would not recommend.

A fantastic music concert! The orchestra was spectacular and paired with the movie, it made for an amazing evening!

The experience makes you realize just how essential music is to the cinematic experience. Having seen the film several times, and never loving it at the outset, I was able to concentrate on how the orchestral music determines the moods of the scenes, the strength (or not) of the performances, the special effects. Briefly, without the music, the film would be lame. The live orchestra was powerful and moving. The musicians deserve an award for stamina, as does, of course, the conductor. One thing: in order for the orchestra to be heard over the soundtrack, voices, special audio effects etc., it has to be miked, which makes the orchestral music sound a lot like the movie's soundtrack, i.e. not live. You have to keep looking at the musicians in order to remember they are not just "lip syncing" with the movie! So, the music is "live" but without the warm acoustic sound of a live orchestra on stage.

It was a truly magical experience. The venue made it completely immersive. The wonderful orchestra gave the score a rich feel becoming a character itself. To be able to pick out the subtle nuances of the various instruments enhanced the feel of the scenes. John Williams would be very proud of the performance given by this extremely talented group of musicians. Well done!!

It was my wife birthday gift and our first public event post pandemic and has an amazing time. The NCA orchestra performance was nothing but incredible. We’ll definitely on the look up for future concerts

Even my muggle husband enjoyed it very much and thanked me for getting the tickets! We were in EE section. The orchestra was outstanding! My husband was thankful there were subtitles because it was difficult to hear the dialogue at times. When I bought the tickets Saturday was not an option or else I would have purchased for that time, given 7:30pm coming in from +1 hr out (East of Ottawa) made it extremely late for our 8 & 10 yr olds. My sons were disappointed there were no HP programs or souvenirs (other than the QR code) which shipping would have cost the same price as the item bought! My sons and I dressed up in HP character (HP, Colin Crevey and Prof.Trelawney) it would have been fun if it had been more encouraged for others. LOVED the photo prop display and we had fun. More selection of “snacks” would have also been nice.

It was just wonderful fun. I kept forgetting that the orchestra was there. I can't wait to see the next movie.
