Home Free did a great job at their songs, also in having to deal with one of their members being sick and not at the show. There was one beat box song that was great but took a while. Slightly disappointed they didn’t do a few more songs as a group, felt like a short concert.
The Venu had been changed so much while waiting for this show. It was performed at MacEwan Hall at the University of Calgary. This was a terrible venue for a concert. They just had seats on the floor, so you couldn’t see the stage, especially when a tall person is in front of you. Then the band wants people to stand up. Even standing when you have someone over six feet in front of you, on a flat surface, you still don’t see the band. I’m sure the people in the front row were also not appreciative of the band encouraging people to come right up to the stage to dance in front of them. They blocked the front row too. Disappointed in the venue. Paid for a really good seat at the beginning, then went to a show where it was a metal folding chair, on a flat floor.
I’d go back to a Home Free concert, but not at the same location.
