Absolutely loved the grounds, despite the wetness and rain was easily navigable, the three stages were intense and I loved seeing my favourite DJs. very little wait times anywhere on the island.

I attended to hear Paul Kalkbrenner exclusively and he did not disappoint me at all. He was fantastic as usual. The event was great. My only negative comment concerns finding my way around. Maps indicating who was playing where and what time would have been appreciated. It took us a while to find the right venue. Other than that it was as fantastic!
I really liked the line up this year for the Coca Cola stage, with some strong names like Wooli, Infekt, Sub focus & Dimension. For the main stage I think a lot of the artists could be playing on the other stages like Subtronics, Knock2, Gims, and it could have more popular names like last year had with Martin Garrix, Alesso, Alok, AfroJack. If next year doesn’t have those big names I’ll probably go to Veld since this year had a crazy popular line up with Marshmello, Alan Walker, Martin Garrix, … I think the main stage could have a little bit more decorations, because the only pretty thing it has are the big screens and of course the fireworks and FX.

Mostly went for the mainstage Sunday afternoon headliners. Rain was a bit of a downer for Timmy Trumpet but it was funny to see him go on without the crowd as they had cut the music for the crowd but not for the artists at the same time. The closing off of the closest part of the mainstage during the sets is the best decision this festival has done. Montrealers are clearly mentally challenged as i've observed in the past editions of this festival. The locals absolutely feel a need to move around DURING THE SET. I'm glad the organizers did this for this edition even though it clearly annoyed a lot of people. I've only seen this dumbness on this level elsewhere. EDC Las Vegas did have a bit of this but not nearly as bad as i recall other editions of this festival and i've never seen this in: Ultra Japan, Ultra Europe, Tomorrowland Winter or Untold. Last thing i think is worth mentioning is how the music isn't very loud compared to larger festivals. Especially those done inside stadiums. It's a mission/endeavor to try and find a proper spot at this venue to properly get your insides vibrating with the music (please use earplugs when doing this). It is possible not but trivial. Other than this i love the venue overall. The ticket prices are still affordable / decent value. I will say i've noticed a trend of ticket pricing going up but overall experience remaining the same. My biggest gripe with this festival is the crowd management in terms of handling well large movements of people which is feel could be improved. For example, i despise with a burning fury how the entrance from the metro through the bag check/ticket check makes the crowd perform a hard 90degree turn. Crowds are stupid, crowds have the intelligence of their dumbest individual, do no expect crowds to be able to do what an individual can do trivially. You will face a mass of probably drunk/high/showing off youth, do not expect them to be able to do anymore than a dumb dog. Simple instructions, one at a time, lots of time in between each. Another example, i don't like how the mainstage and the main food area next to it have this constricted path between them. I really feel the organizers should double down in either direction, either remove the entire monster / VIP section constricting that path between the mainstage and food area OR completely block it off, you want food you gotta hike the long way around the monster / VIP area. Personally i think blocking it off would be better, given currently using it leaves you trying to shove your way through the crowd closest to the mainstage to go deeper or move backwards through the crowd which is just super annoying and impolite IMO. You also come in at a terrible angle so there is no way anyone is staying in that section going towards the mainstage.

Je vais a l'ile Sonic presque tous les ans, mais cette année, j'ai trouvé qu'il y avait beaucoup d'amélioration, le site est vraiment rendu très bien, les bars, les VIP, et la zone resto, c'est grand et propre, beaucoup de sécurité. Bravo

It was an absolute insane performance from everyone there,crowd was so lively and involved ,it was a Great turn out and I enjoyed the whole event
En cas d’averse de pluie ( comme il y a eu dimanche ), cela aurait été super s’il y avait eu un tunnel de séchage où la gang aurait pu se sécher et continuer la fête sans avoir froid. On a fini par sécher en dansant mais cela aurait été beaucoup plus agréable

Everything about this event was exceptional! No complaints. The crowd, the vendors, the music, the artists, the production, the layout. It's was pretty much perfect

Even with the heavy rain on Sunday, Timmy Trumpet's show was only interrupted for about 5 minutes and resumed as soon as the rain calmed down. Food and especially alcohol is extremely expensive, but that's to be expected in any large scale festival lol. 9/10 experience for me at ILESONIQ this year 🥰
