INXS in TO
by KDL1 on 2011-03-07Sound Academy - TorontoJD Fortune and the members of INXS seamed to put aside their differences for 1 night and rocked the Sound Academy for 2 straight hours. JD is the perfect front man, bringing life back to those amazing classics from 30 years ago. The opening percussion number was awesome and only got better when it led into Suicide Blonde. The t-shirt with the words "Featuring..." worn by JD seamed to poke fun at the fact he is NOT member of the group. It was also fitting to see the original members perform " Don't Change" without JD on stage. I would have given the show a 5 star if it were at a venue where you didn't stand on your toes for the 2 hours crammed between 1000 people.
