About

Iron Maiden are one of the most formative bands to establish the heavy metal genre in the ’80s. Formed in 1975 in East London, the band underwent several personnel changes before releasing their self-titled debut in 1980. Iron Maiden’s sophomore effort, 1981’s Killers, was the first to chart in the U.S. and marked the final release with lead singer Paul Di'Anno. With the installment of frontman Bruce Dickinson, Iron Maiden released their breakthrough 1982 album, The Number of the Beast, which reached platinum certification, introduced two staples to the band’s catalog with the title track and “Run to the Hills” and kicked off a 10-year run of releases to land in the Top 40 on the Billboard 200, including their 1983 follow-up Piece of Mind and 1986’s Somewhere in Time. Dickinson departed in 1993, but returned in 1999 to cement the current lineup with bassist and primary songwriter Steve Harris; guitarists Dave Murray, Adrian Smith and Janick Gers; and drummer Nicko McBrain, along with the band’s long-standing mascot “Eddie,” whose skeletal figure has graced the cover of nearly every release and become a signature of their live performances. Iron Maiden reached a new level of mainstream success in the ’10s, winning their first Grammy in the Best Metal Performance category for their 2010 single “El Dorado,” while 2010’s The Final Frontier and 2015’s The Book of Souls both earned No. 4 placements on the Billboard 200, marking their highest-charting albums at the time.

    These Guys Still Rock Hard!

by TrackManiac on 2023-11-01Rogers Place - Edmonton

Absolutely this is worth the price of admission! Even as aging rockers they still put on a great show.

    Amazing!

by Max from YZF on 2023-10-24Rogers Arena - Vancouver

Maiden is one of my favourite bands ever but I had never seen then live, so I drove all the way down from Yellowknife to fix that. Totally worth it! Those guys are still full of youthful energy and Bruce still sounds just as good in some of their older songs as he did back in the day.

    Great show but....

by Sanders on 2023-10-19Rogers Arena - Vancouver

They didn't play Run to the HIlls or Number of the Beast - in my opinion, those are their 2 best songs and ultimate classics from the 80's. How could they even fathom not playing them. WTF?!?

    Mind blowing show

    by Kiki on 2023-10-18

Went to Vancouver show by myself, it was my first Maiden&metal concert. I was scared to go alone at first but I didn’t want to miss it, and the security guards were surprised to see me (a short Asian girl) at first, but overall it was a great experience, everyone was having fun and head banging to almost every song. I am not a die hard fan but this concert really got me into them. The whole band had so much energy, the stage design was fire, and Bruce voice was phenomenal, I had such a blast. Can’t wait to see them again!

    one of the best

    by Barry1976 on 2023-10-17Rogers Arena - Vancouver

Among the best of performances I have seen from Maiden. Even though the stage was less grandiose than last year's tour (seen in Seattle), I enjoyed this set list better, the atmosphere was great and the sound was better. Opening by Artreyu was fantastic as well. I didn't know them before, but they left an impression!

    Amazing!

by Buck Savage on 2023-10-09Rogers Arena - Vancouver

I have probably seen Maiden 6-7 times and they have never disappointed. However, I did miss the Somewhere in Time Tour so I was not going to miss this show. It was great to hear some of the songs from Somewhere in Time album that they usually don't play. In their 60's and still on top of their game. Bruce still has an amazing voice and the band is playing great. And as usual, Eddy made a few appearances and the visual was awesome!

    Fantastic concert

by KK on 2023-10-09Rogers Arena - Vancouver

Probably one of the best concerts I've ever been at and I've seen many huge acts. This is the 2nd time I've seen Maiden live and they are unbelievable musicians and a great stage show. The crowd was on their feet from the opening note and no one sat down the entire time. Very, very good show. They did not disappoint!
