Good not great

Like any good Canadian household, Alanis was big in our family, so there really wasn't anything that could keep us from enjoying ourselves. Therein (slightly) lies the problem.
The singing ranged from meh to pretty good, but with Alanis' discography I was really waiting for a real wow moment. Which, as I stated, shouldn't have been hard to achieve.
The dancing was okay, sometimes it seemingly took away from the overall performance though.
The plot was good. I read some things about "wokeness" and blah blah blah, but alot of Alanis music really lent itself to the angtsy, social justice theatrics, so actually I quite enjoyed the imagination of it all and found the plot to be quite tight.
Overall we loved it, but I just wonder how much of that is bias
