About
Jake Worthington is a rising country singer-songwriter from La Porte, Texas. He grew up influenced by traditional country music, listening to artists such as Ray Price, Merle Haggard and George Jones. Worthington came onto the scene in 2014 at the age of 17 when he was a runner-up on season 6 of The Voice. His cover of Bryan Adams’ “Heaven” — performed on The Voice — charted on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2015 he released a five-song self-titled EP that charted on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. He released his second EP, Hell of a Highway, in 2017 featuring the singles “How Do You Honky Tonk” and “ A Lot of Room to Talk.” In 2021, he signed with Big Loud Records and his self-titled debut album followed in 2023 featuring his brand of two-step honky-tonk anthems. The album earned Worthington Male Artist of the Year and Country Album of the Year at the 2023 Texas Music Awards. On the road, Worthington has opened for artists including Cody Johnson, Riley Green, Pat Green, Hank Williams Jr., ERNEST and more.
