The concert was good! Jamie is a trip and such a talented entertainer! He gave us song and a bit of comedy! He truly has a beautiful voice! I would recommend others to see his show. If you should go to a concert at Sound Academy the way to go is VIP ... if the option is available. So glad we attended VIP style.
Jamie was amazing last night. He commanded the stage and did an amazing job displaying all of his talents. He was very funny and very creative with his performances.
The venue was too hot. I purchased the higher priced tickets but did not see the value in the difference. The show was too short and not what I expected. There were times when my mind wondered to other things as the show was not keeping my attention. Jamie Foxx looked great but was disapponted with his performance.
Mr. Multifaceted, Jamie Foxx is truly a gifted entertainer and his concert yesterday proved that his musical talents are on par with his acting and comedic abilities. He has a great voice and his terrific energy kept the audience engaged and entertained for close to, if not, two hours. Although I enjoy his acting, comedy and a couple of songs I hear on the radio, I wouldn’t say I was a huge fan going in to the concert, but I’m one now. You didn’t have to know the music to enjoy the performance. The montage to the many hats of Jamie Foxx to open the show was a unique way to get things started. I particularly enjoyed the movie trailer with Wanda and Shenaynay and his tribute to Mr. Ray Charles. The venue, Sound Academy, was small enough to feel an intimate connection when the slower, sexier songs were performed, but large enough to appreciate a party vibe. The next time he swings by the T.O. I’ll definitely check him out.
awsome sound, live band...the athmosphere was incredible. jamie foxx knows how to entertain and his music is incredible..
This concert was BANANAS! Kim Davis opened and sang a couple songs. Jay Martin came out and did his stand up then Jamie came out. Jamie did his thing like no one else. He sang, he had a few jokes, he impersonated people, he started out hype and then slowed it down with his Slow Jamz and brought ladies up to dance for him (including my cousin). An unforgettable night! He brought Drake up on stage to Perform and represent his hometown. Jamie can SING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All around great entertainer!! Show was great, DRAKE was a nice surprise!! It was a great balance between, singing, performing and comedy!!
The venue was a great location for this Jamie Foxx concert. I loved it. It was great not to have it in a huge stadium. This club made it very intimate. I felt like it was very personable. He did an amazing job entertaining the crowd. His voice was so clear and amazing. He is a great talent. It was the BEST concert to date!!!! I also enjoyed how much he interacted with the audience. Talking and thanking us for being there. LOVED IT!!!!!
I've been a long time Jamie Foxx fan........all the way back to In Living Colour....He is a truly talented individual....I'm so proud of his success....it was an awesome performance.
It was a funny and entertaining show. Jamie interacted with the crowd and he sounded good.
Honestly the best concert i've ever been to. Jamie is so talented it hurts, he sounds just as good (if not better) in person than he does on the album and really puts on a show.. the dancing, and comments in between songs just made it all the better. love him period. lol.
I love you to death Jamie but I have to say I was very disappointed with your concert...Your host (the comedian) got us all hyped up and then you came on with a song from your new album and brought our energy level down! You should have started with an old hype song that everyone would have known to keep our energy level high...Too many breaks! If you weren't Jamie Foxx and if it weren't for the hype Detroit people...there is no way this concert would have pulled it off! The comedian had alot to do with it also...The next morning at IHOP for breakfast everyone who went was disappointed! Sorry Jamie...Still love ya!

Great concert...fun and engaging. Jamie is super sexy and his music is just as hot as he is.
