  • Awesome experience!

If you closed your eyes, you would swear the original boys were on stage. Great musicians, fantastic vocals and a very honorable and heartfelt tribute to Jason's father. Ya, Jason can play drums, the boy can play.

This was the second time I've seen the JBLZE and the combination of a seemingly better rehearsed and tight show together with an outstanding venue made it perhaps the best concert of any kind I've ever seen! Well done Jason & Co.

  • Like a savage gorilla on the drums

by Mavustaholio on 2017-12-05MTELUS - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

We all hear how live recordings are but a glimpse, a clue of what it might have been like to actually be there. Nothing I saw online inspired me to buy tickets. It was more a sense of musical obligation and duty. Boy was I mistaken. Holy cow! Verily, I say to any person : hearing Jason Bonham play the drums is truly like experiencing a force of nature. There were times where it felt like Jason just took the whole song and shook it violently by the shoulders, beautifully, and to great musical effect. We know we'll never get to hear Page, and perhaps Jonesy, and if we're lucky, Plant if he comes to your town. But I say to you: you'll hear a Bonham on the drums. Jason Bonham will force you to re-evaluate anything you ever imagined about being at a Zeppelin concert. You'll never hear the drums the same way again.

  • Experience back in time

    by Gypsysoulatheart1 on 2017-12-05MTELUS - MontrealRating: 4 out of 5

Super fun time, Jason and the gang always entertain. Jason is Humble and an amazing drummer, chip off the old block as they say. Amazing tribute to the best band on the planet. They did reach the point of taking us back in time once again being my third time seeing the Led Zeppelin Experience! Cheers well done!!

Loved Jason’s words about His dad and how much he loved playing in Montreal The band was amazing I would definitely go see them again

  • Just like hearing Led Zeppelin

    by ErvJ200 on 2017-05-19Commodore Ballroom - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

The sound was amazing! Great venue. My seats were the best. The band played for over two hours and I knew every song. Lots of energy coming off of the stage and the crowd loved it. The audience sang along with every song. James Dylan voice was superb with great stage presence, just like Robert Plant Guitarist Tony Catania had all his Jimmy Page moves down, and his guitar sounded fantastic. What a fantastic show

  • Next best thing to led zeppelin

by MrSlurpee on 2017-05-19Commodore Ballroom - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Jason and his band are outstanding - they nail every song and the crowd and the Commodore was eating it all up - being a massive led zep fan, I was in my glory jumping up and down and singing along Can't wait to see them again

  • I was a traveler of both time and space

by Boodz on 2017-05-19Commodore Ballroom - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

From the opening chords of Immigrant Song to a powerful encore of Whole Lotta Love, the Led Zeppelin Experience took me back to days gone by. Loved Jason sharing his memories of his father and growing up in the Zeppelin family. This show is a must see for any fan of Led Zeppelin. The Commodore Ballroom is a great venue but these talented gentlemen should be playing music venues like the Queen Elizabeth theatre, it would be a far better venue for the aging fan base. Would love to see them add Heartbreaker to their set as well.

I'm not a big fan of cover bands but there are exceptions to every belief, Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience is a story of a band a boy and his iconic father and they told it very well. A magical night in one of my favourite venues Thsnk you

  • Just so-so performance

by oneeagle on 2017-05-19Grey Eagle Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 3 out of 5

Have seen the band twice before and they were phenomenal both times. This time the sound was a big problem, the clear edge to LZ music is so key and that night it just wasn't good, the guitarist drowned out the vocals. Also, the passion just wasn't there like before, didn't do sufficient honour to them, seemed to be just going through the motions. Sounded okay but like just another cover band. Not on a par with the mindblowing professionalism, vocals and musicianship of BritFloyd, as an example, a true tribute and love shown to the original music.

Sound was great, but maybe a bit too loud. Security was under staffed and inexperienced.

  • JBLZE left me almost speechless!

by Tyril on 2017-05-18Grey Eagle Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

That was the Most Phenomenal and Amazing Rock n' Roll show I have ever seen! This group of Superstar Musicians blew the doors off of any band I have seen and I get chills when I talk about it. Visually, the concert is totally groovy and the Sound is so Phat that I know I've witnessed and experienced the Magic of Led Zeppelin. Jason Bonham's heartfelt tribute to his Father choked me up. Because of Jason's pedigree, I expected a great show, but the honour and respect shown by the entire band...I had an authentic Led Zeppelin Experience!

  • Led Zeppelin WOW

by Atee on 2017-05-17Grey Eagle Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

This is as close as one gets to this iconic band. Jason Bonham - son of the actual Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham - and the accompanying musicians did an wonderful job of sounding like the original band. The sound mixing was a bit off at the start of the show, but got better as the show progressed. Stairway to Heaven and Ramblin' On sounded great. Encore was unfortunately only one song long. It's wonderful that Jason Bonham tours with a great selection of masterful artists to keep the sound of this great band true and alive.

  • Third time seeing them

by MDavout on 2017-05-17Grey Eagle Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 3 out of 5

The JBLZE started their most recent North American tour here in Calgary, it was third time I have seen them since 2010. It was a great show, obviously great music and well performed. If you love Led Zeppelin and not seen this show yet, it is definitely a must see. I will say, however, that looking at all three shows, I have noted a descending level of quality that is disappointing. The original show in 2010 had more home videos, more interaction between Jason and his father in video form, and overall a better selection of songs. Also, they only did one somewhat reluctant encore, even though the crowd was enthusiastic and appreciative, which was disrespectful to the first audience of their tour. I also think some of must-play songs were missing from the set, like Rock N'Roll. For those that have seen JBLZE before, it would be interesting to hear if others feel the same way. Thanks for reading this, MDavout

  • Awesome

I've had the opportunity to see dozens of Zeppelin tribute or cover bands over the years and none compared. Jason and his band are as close as you can get to reliving the mid-70's! If you are within driving distance go see them, you won't be disappointed.
