  • Joe Nichol dock his pay !!!

by Bigmick on 2014-04-20Casino Rama - RamaRating: 3 out of 5

Joe had a very down to earth stage presence and a comfortable personality. The songs were good but when you come on at 8:oo and go off at 9:05,come back and do one more song, leave for good at 9:10pm.I'm sorry Joe not good enough. When people were still coming in at 8:15/8:30 and the show is over at 9:10.Take your time coming back to Canada Joe.

  • Should've been cancelled

by SteveSpez on 2014-04-20Casino Rama - RamaRating: 1 out of 5

Joe has a good collection of songs and normally has a great voice. On this occasion his voice was cutting in and out badly. I don't know if he was ill or had been screaming the night before but he sounded awful and was not worth the price of admission. Had he been well it would have been great. He put out the effort indeed, but everyone including him should have stayed home!

  • Sound was not good

    by polarbear3 on 2014-04-20Casino Rama - RamaRating: 3 out of 5

The background music was too loud and you couldn't hear Joe's voice at times, In the beginning the voice and music didn't match, he was behind the music. He voice didn't seem the same

  • Won't go again

by TartanArmywannabe on 2014-04-20Casino Rama - RamaRating: 1 out of 5

The sound was terrible. Couldn't hear Joe's voice over the band. He said he was hoarse, so maybe that was the issue. I went because I like country music, not hip hop, not screaming girls, not whatever Joe and band were doing on the stage. Jump! Jump! Get up! and cutesy comic routines. Not my kind of country music show. I won't waste my time going to see Joe Nichols again. Go back to your routes Joe and you will see me back in the audience. After the first two songs, all the people around us left. What does that tell you?

Joe Nichols has some great music & great stage presents getting the audience into his songs BUT it was really hard to get into it like i usually do as the volume was SO LOUD i just did not enjoy spending $50 & not getting ear plugs thrown in on the admission price!

  • His show was so much fun!

    by Canada57 on 2012-09-05McPhillips Station Casino - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

A great entertainer, who enjoys what he does and does it well! His choice of songs was great; he sang quite of few of his more popular songs which I liked. He was funny and did quite a bit of audience participation which was a lot of fun! I would definitely see him again!

It is a good thing that Joe got some therapy and has gotten his act back together as he is a talented performer who communicates with his audience by moving all around the stage, down the side ramps, looks people directly in the eye, leads them in sing-alongs, shakes hands with his fans, and tosses picks into the crowd. Most performers are finished, encore and all, by 9:30 PM, but Joe continued until 10:00 PM, to the delight of his sold-out audience. The same cannot be said of his opening act, who could have just phoned his performance in. He's still a bit of a puppy, who should get a performance coach to beef up his act.
