He was so sweet and high energy. Sounded great. Great dancing. His band and backup singers were dynamite. They were having so much fun ! Luved it. I would see him again in a heart beat.

I’ve seen Johnny Reid in concert quite a few times and will continue to attend his concerts. Only thing I was disappointed about was he didn’t play this is not goodbye or Hey-o two of my favourite songs.

sound quality of the outdoor performance was the worst concert I have attended in 46 years.

Would have been nice to get more information regarding seating/parking options. Had never been to venue before

Johnny and his band make you feel like they are putting the concert on just for you. I've seen him numerous times and always great. The Bess Gardens are a beautiful setting and the weather was perfect

This was my first-time attending an event at the Bess Garden. Quick entry and exit, view was good, lots of portable washrooms and hand washing station. Best part- Johnny Reid. This was my 6th time seeing him and he never disappoints. Would totally do the event all over again!

I am a proud Tartan Club fan member and was among the first to get my tickets. Having lived in Saskatoon several years ago, I was thrilled to be able to see him at the magnificent hotel I had always admired. It wasn’t until a couple days before the event that I realized it was an outdoor event. I kept checking the weather reports, confident that the rain would cooperate. It wasn’t until parking and seeing many people carrying lawn chairs that I realized the seating would not be provided. So much for getting “reserved seating” in what appeared to be close to the stage. The grounds were full with the only available spots on the hillsides. It was extremely difficult to make it up the hill, me with knee replacements and my one friend awaiting a hip replacement. The only way down was either sliding down (not easy in a dress and heels) or ….. Very thankfully my third companion spoke to a security guard about the chair situation and he was able to provide us with folding chairs which we were so thankful for. The concert began. The name of the concert is “Love Someone”, the name of Johnny Reid’s current CD. I had listened to the CD the past few weeks, learning all the songs go so I could sing along (in my head). NOT ONE SONG ON THAT ALBUM WAS FEATURED!! NOT A SINGLE ONE!! I will continue to love Johnny’s songs but the disappointment I felt at the end of concert remains today and will probably sting for quite some time. All in all, Johnny Reid has a huge talent, as do his fabulous band and backup singers. Comparing this concert to those in the past, I’m sorry to say that he has lost some of his humility. He has become quite the show man, dancing and chatting when he could have spent a bit more time singing the songs we have come to love so much. Since the concert I have heard people say that at past outdoor events the hotel provided seats and people were able to sit comfortably in their assigned chairs.

Always the most fun and energetic show. Great band and a good time had by all. Music is fabulous . One of the best nights out you will have

The musical quality of this show was excellent. I enjoyed it very much. Beautiful evening for an outdoor concert.

I alway enjoy Johnny Reid no matter what. He never fails as a performer 💗💗

He is an amazing performer, you can tell how much he appreciates everyone on stage and in the audience His voice is unreal. Being outdoors the acoustics were not as good as when he plays indoors. But you always leave his concerts feeling happy, he makes you feel so good
