  • Here's Johnny!!!!!!!!!!!!! Again and amazing!!!

by Anonymous on 2010-09-16Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

I was struggling with how much better Johnny's show could be after last years performance, by the way, it was excellent. ( I have the DVD to prove it! ) But he "OUT DID HIMSELF AGAIN"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The performance, energy, sound, music, STAGE, band, excellent back up singers,EVERYTHING about Johnny was fabulous, excellent, amazing, fun, energetic "FANTABULOUS". Yes that's right "FANTABULOUS" !!!!!!! He sing from the HEART, and it shows as well as you can hear it in his powerful voice. I really believe that being grounded with the love of a strong family unit is a major factor in being a sincere, appreciative artist! Keep up the great work Johnny and I will continue to support your music!!!!

  • A Place Called Love was AWESOME

A very Classy performance. I was disappointed that I could not hear[understand] when Johnny was talking -telling his stories. I think the music behind him could have been softer or not at all.

  • Johnny Reid was REAL!!

by tbone on 2010-09-16Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

probably the best concert I've attended in a long, long while (and we go to a few). The music was fantastic but more importantly, Johnny Reid's interaction with all of us, his sharing of his personal and family lives and his gratitude towards those who come to his concerts and buy his music. The band was fantastic and of course the bagpipes brought out the goosebumps.

  • Was an unforgettable evening

by Mammacat on 2010-09-16Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

This was the best ever - love his songs and many bring me to tears - never has any songs brought me to tears as with Johnny's. He is both a fantastic entertainer and singer but also quite the funny guy too. Its like he never tires out. Loved the whole evening and will go again and reccommend to anyone.

This was one of the best shows I have been to. Johnny Reid engages his audience. You feel like he is just singing to every fan personally. His band was amazing - very talented. Could have listened all night!

The best concert that i have been to so far, and i have been to many. He shows how much he cares, and is very interactive. Johnny is very close to his roots and a very humble man. His voice is amazing, a very gifted artist.

  • A totally "Feel Good" concert.

by Arkie1 on 2010-09-16Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

I know "Missing an Angel" is an older song but I would have loved to hear him sing it. Five years ago at this time I met someone and that was kinda our song. But that is ok because "Darlin" made up for it. I loved every part of his concert. This man has so much compassion in his life that you can feel it spilling throughout the entire building. The world loves Johnny!

Johnny Reid is a performer who time and time again ,at each of his performances, acknowledges the audience in a genuine way. He talks to the audience, personalizing each of his songs by explaining why he wrote the song and what it means to him to have the sold old crowds and how grateful he is that his fans have followed him from his early days in the business.

  • Loved Johnny!

I am a huge Johnny Reid fan and this was my first time to see Johnny in concert. I can't wait until the next time! Thoroughly enjoyed his performance and the way he tells his stories through his songs. He was energetic and personable throughout the whole concert. Loved the way he was involved with his audience...next time definately going for floor seats! The only thing that would have made this event better is to turn down the volume of the instruments, as talented as the band is...and they are, at times it was hard to hear Johnny over the sound of the instruments.

Amazing showman. Funny, sincere & genuine. Displayed throughout the show he's grateful for his Canadian fans. A family man who absolutely loves kids. He provided a little girl with one of his Jonnny Reid teddy bears at the beginning of the show & later on pulled two little girls up on stage with him to dance with his back-up singers & himself (awarding them t-shirts that say "Johnny Reid is my biggest fan."). The teddy bears were a great purchase with money raised going to Childrens Aid & all money raised in Edmonton, staying in Edmonton! Due to all of the middle-aged women swooning over him during the show, I'd have to say Johnny Reid is Canada's Rod Stewart!

  • Johnny was outstanding!!!!!!!

by Frisky on 2010-09-16Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Johnny is a very classy man with a beautiful voice. He wears his feelings on his sleeve and shows his feeling in every word he sings. He keeps you entertained with his funny stories and that beautiful voice. I love the way he dances while he sings. He always speaks about his family with alot of respect and love.

Johnny put on the best show ever,,, he is so versital with his singing syle that he can do rock, country, rock and role ,blues ... he handles the crowd well... what he should have done when the song Dance With Me came on ,he should have had some dancers on....

  • Johnny Reid was exceptional!

by fancyface1 on 2010-09-16Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

I have enjoyed every performance I have seen, live or television! This last concert was very entertaining, I found a really enjoyable mix up of style with his songs. I really like how he moved thru the crowd and dances with the elderly ladies instead of picking a younger woman. And he really shows a soft spot for the children that attend his shows, allowing a few of them to join on stage.

He puts on a great show, lots of energy & interaction with the crowd. He also sounds great live. I wish he would have done a few more of his older songs though. This is the third Johnny Reid concert I've been to & still have not heard him sing Kicking Stones (thats my favorite song of his).

I am a big time Bon Jovi fan and this rates right up with him. He is so humble. Love the fact it is in the Jubilee. Keep it up.
